We stopped at this restaurant to grab breakfast right before dropping our convertible off at the airport and flying out. If you're looking for glitz and glam, not for you but if you're looking for good food after spending a fortune on the main parts of the island than this is the spot for you. I had an omelet and... I love local joints, especially when traveling. They are usually really good, really friendly and really fun. I had high hopes for this place because of some of the other reviews and I usually discount bad reviews until I see for myself. As soon as I walked in I could tell cleanliness was not a priority, nobody acknowledged us as... More

Visited on a busy Saturday morning... Were able to get a seat at the counter quickly. Pancakes were good, huge order. Loco moco was good but very salty. It was nice to eat somewhere the locals frequent.

This was my first visit for breakfast with my family. I ordered loco moco scrambled ($6), husband ordered fried rice over easy ($6), pancakes and bacon for the kids. ($10). The pancakes came with a huge slab of butter. The kids couldn't eat both pancakes, but bacon was crispy. The loco moco was good, patty needed more salt. Fried rice... More

We were looking for places that Locals would eat, this one was recommended to us by some folks we met, and decided we would try it on one of our outings on that side of the island. Whew, am I glad we did. The wife had the Chow Fun Noodle dish, and I had Korean BBQ spare ribs and chop... More

It's a diner. Crowded on weekend breakfast times as it's popular with locals. Typical diner fare served with aloha.

A local spot that we came across searching for a late breakfast. The place is very unpretentious and filled with locals. Everyone was very friendly and we were made to feel welcome. The pancakes are perfection from a griddle and my omelet and short stack were great and my wife's banana pancakes were wonderful. I'm kind of torn placing this... More

This is the place where local people come for a tasty, filling, decently-priced breakfast. The sign outside said "best pancakes", but I opted for a noodle dish, saimin. That was a really filling choice because there were more noodles in the dish than there was the broth! Very tasty. Other members in my group had the usual breakfast fare, saying... More

Best pancakes ever! No matter how full you are, there's always room for pancakes...at least here. A local restaurant that has been on maui since before I can remember with local grinds. Some items I'll steer clear from, hamburgers, since their patties changed, but the saimin, combo plate, spare ribs, and pancakes are...."winnahs". My kids love this place...and so does... More
