Service is slow but food is good.

We ordered the garlic fish and chicken and shrimp Phad Thai. Both dishes were very very good but not on the large side. The sauce on the garlic fish was wow! Service was on the slow side but very friendly. They seem to only have one waiter. Seating area is very quaint and comfortable. Enjoyed... read more

Saeng's has been one of my local favorites sine I discovered it 9 years ago. The atmosphere is excellent, and the food usually very good. But last night the chief was off. My favorite Masaman Curry tasted and looked watered down and my friends we not totally happy with their meals either. I hope that this is not a new... More

Been coming to Saeng's for years! Great Thai food at affordable prices! They are friendly and have a nice inner courtyard seating. Togo is no problem as well!

I spend quite a bit of time in Thailand and love the food. I also like to sample 'Thai' restaurants in different parts of the world and give my personal assessment of how well they're pulling it off. Sometimes not quite pulling it off isn't the restaurant's fault, since sourcing the proper ingredients can be problematic in some locations. Happily,... More

We've been going to Saeng's Thai irregularly for about 15 years and have always had good food and service. Tonight we happened to meet mainland friends there at about the same time as the pre-Iao Theater crowd so all of the tables filled up at once. They went from dead to super busy in just a few minutes so it... More

We ate lunch at Saeng's four times during our recent trip to Maui. It's in the town of Wailuku but, not hard to find at all (you can always Google it before you go). There is easy parking right on their lot next to the restaurant. The food is freshly prepared each time to your own taste (you can ask... More

Today is New Years Eve.....we stopped for a late lunch. We are seated outside on a covered patio, with nice ambient music and tropical plants around. The beer is not expensive, and the shrimp/broccoli satay is good. The peanut sauce is very tasty! Our fresh spring rolls are chock full of really fresh veggies, with a good dipping sauce. My... Atmophere is great, very authentic. Flavors were good, just weird they used canned/frozen produce in some dishes. Service good, sweet little spot. I'd try again, lots of our friends really love this place. Maybe I'll try different items next time.

we were very impressed with everything we had here - fresh spring rolls, pad Thai and Penang curry. All were good enough to make us want to return.
