From the outside, Saeng's is at best plain, perhaps even a bit shabby. Enough so that we passed it by on a walking search for dinner. Luckily for us, we decided to peek inside the next evening. Amazing! The interior features a large covered courtyard garden repeat with a charming pond and fountain. And even better, the food is excellent.... More

My husband and I were on our way back to the airport (June 23, 2014) to head home and decided that some Thai food sounded good. I checked our Maui Revealed book and found Saeng's. We plugged the address into our GPS and it led us straight to their door. Parking was in their lot--convenient and easy. This is a... More

We visit this place year after year when in Maui. Casual, generous portions, great flavors and always a hit with friends. On our last visit we had green curry with chicken and Panang curry with chicken! We usually have more of a variety, but there were just two of us on a curry mission! We will be back!

the staff were friendly, the place is quiet and the best spot to have cooked food after 11 days of outdoor. I had the tom yum soup and fried bananas with ice cream. More than once. So I'd recommend to eat here.

I came here to try a different Thai restaurant and out of the ones in Kahului, Kihei, and Lahaina, this one is the worst. While the prices are about the same as the others, the food here is poor. The pad thai had no flavor, was soupy, and didn't have any spiciness to it. The staff, while nice, disappeared at... More

I really love this place. It's such a nice environment to sit and eat. It makes me feel like I'm in Asia, and it's rarely busy. Sometimes is just me and my date. The Food is delicious and served piping hot. Just be careful not to spill it on your lap like I did. My leg was red for days:(... More

Not cheap but nothing cheap in this island. Stuff is very friendly and kindly, service is not slow. but sometimes inside is very crowdy. I am not an gourmet but the foods are cooked well and tasty and I like Thai foods. Located in a very peaceful garden. I can easily suggest to all my friends and I hope there... More

Staff is from Laos. Food was not as spicy as Thai people make it. They seemed under-staffed when we went there on a Tuesday night, so we had to wait a while for things. Friendly staff and the food is good, but could use more of a kick.

i often crave for a BIG salad when i travel, and that's usually difficult to obtain in most resturants. But if you order a green papaya salad, you (I) will be satisfied. By the way, the salad is yummy!
