We ate lunch at Saeng's four times during our recent trip to Maui. It's in the town of Wailuku but, not hard to find at all (you can always Google it before you go). There is easy parking right on their lot next to the restaurant. The food is freshly prepared each time to your own taste (you can ask... More

Today is New Years Eve.....we stopped for a late lunch. We are seated outside on a covered patio, with nice ambient music and tropical plants around. The beer is not expensive, and the shrimp/broccoli satay is good. The peanut sauce is very tasty! Our fresh spring rolls are chock full of really fresh veggies, with a good dipping sauce. My... Atmophere is great, very authentic. Flavors were good, just weird they used canned/frozen produce in some dishes. Service good, sweet little spot. I'd try again, lots of our friends really love this place. Maybe I'll try different items next time.

we were very impressed with everything we had here - fresh spring rolls, pad Thai and Penang curry. All were good enough to make us want to return.

Saeng's Thai is on Vineyard street in Wailuku 16 Miles from Kiehei and 30 Miles and "light years" away from Lahina and Wailea. Here you will not find a $14 dollar bowl of soup, you will find delicious Green Papaya salad, and Stuffed Chicken wings, and a great masaman curry, and Excellent Pad Tai, and Coconut soup, and unless you... Good thai food comparable to any other decent thai restaurant. It has improved since I first went several years ago. The service is good and the setting is very nice-outdoors under a nice canopy with lots of pretty plants, etc. There are not many options for a nice meal after 5 pm in Wailuku but this is definitely a go-to... I absolutely adore this restaurant. Its close to home and has great food and atmosphere. Their coconut chicken curry soup keeps me coming back as well as the fried banana dessert. Love this place!

Yes I appreciate the zen fountain sound, but the last couple of times I've been in there is no music for ambiance. Most importantly music is to keep my conversation and that of other guests indiscernible so that all may enjoy. Its good Thai food. Though probably nothing notable compared to what any major city has to offer. Wailuku is... More

This restaurant is a true "find". It's on a back road in Wailuku, and to the causal passer-by, it's not even obvious that there is a wonderful Thai restaurant inside. The dining area is a luscious garden with a soothing water feature. Big comfy booths rim part of the room. The food is delicious. For our first visit, we were... More
