A great restaurant. Be prepared to wait. It's very popular

Love the atmosphere and seeing your pizza being made and cooked in the oven. Large 16" flat bread is enough for 2 people. Their organic salad was very tasty. No air condition.

We were in Paia and wanted some pizza so we stopped here. The reviews were wonderful so I had high expectations. I was not disappointed! The toppings are all fresh and there is a large variety. I loved the thin crust and that it was cooked over fire. The only complaint was from my husband. There wasn't enough cheese or... More

We enjoyed the pizza and salad. They have specialty pizzas but to be honest the pepperoni was great! Salad had papaya on it and we really enjoyed it. The place was packed and we could see why. The wait wasn't long at all.

Like many of the local food places in Paia, Flatbread has top quality food with a local feel and charm. Don't be put off by the queues or wait times - it is worth it and the staff work hard to accommodate groups and things move pretty well. Takeaway is also a good option with good online ordering if you... More

After visiting a few higher priced fine dining restaurants in Maui we needed a nice casual Laid back meal. Flat breads hit the spot. Great salads and the Brick oven pizza is very good. It can be crowded but you can call ahead to get on the wait list up to one hr before you go,

We had an outstanding salad of local veggie and added local goat cheese. This we delicious. The pizza is very good. They did tell two of us to order a large. We could have had just enough for lunch with the smaller pizza. Excellent toppings. Very fresh ingredients and nice variations on their recipes. Loved the Cocomojito.

Found this place as we were out exploring this side of the island, looking for new beaches. Later found out that it's a popular place. We didn't have a wait for our lunch, but it did fill up fast. Simple cheese and herb pizza (no sauce) was really great. The quality ingredients and wood fire definitely made a difference. I... More

We loved the food. The staff was great but sometimes even they get a bit annoyed in the heat of the restaurant. Motto: Eat their pizza and salads but DO NOT SIT BY THE WOOD BURNING FIRE OVEN! Makes a great pizza but you'll be ill by the time it reaches you IF! you sit too close to the oven... More

Went after zip lining. Great lunch, but $20+ for a 16 inch pizza. Very good flavor and nothing left! Cooked in pizza oven heated with wood. So, it's warm in there. Staff was friendly and accommodating for our requests

If there were four words to describe this place . . . CHEAP (by Hawaiian terms), good (organic pizzas made in a brick oven), HOT (there is no A/C and the oven really HEATS up the place), crowded (everyone knows this is the only affordable meal you'll be eating) They do not take reservations, so get ready for a wait,...
