Very good choice. Read about this place on Tripadvisor and will definitely be back. We both had the ono (Obama style with wasabi). Fish tasted fresh and very well seasoned. We shared a basket of fries – more than enough! It was a very hot day and we hit this place around 1PM. We got a seat immediately though it... More

We make a point of coming here every time we visit Maui. We love their seafood pasta dish (20.95) The dish is large enough to split. Fish and chips is also very good and fish sandwich. We usually get the seafood pasta dish every time. You sit at a long table and possible eat next to other people but it's... More

We had a late lunch today. Servings are generous so we ordered a couple of different fish tacos and a plate of fish fajitas between 4. Washed down with a couple of icy cold beers and we were in heaven. Great fresh honest food.

If you are looking for great fish in Maui then this is a good choice. Great fresh fish, generous portions. Don't go for the ambiance which is more "fast food" like. Order at the counter pick up yourself. You get the idea!

We'd heard about the Paia fish market so trekked down from Kanapaali for lunch. We weren't disappointed. 2 huge fresh fish sandwiches and beers cost around $30. The food was great, the staff is efficient, very busy and is not particularly welcoming but hey, they're dealing with tourists all day long - so it's understandable!

Really awesome food here! Great service! If you are looking for a quiet dinner for two, this is not the place. The only thing we really did not like about it was how noisy and crowded it was...it was enough for us to not go back this trip. But again, if you don't really care about that kind of thing...this... I had fish and chips. I think Mahi Mahi. Really good. But the others with me got fish tacos. I traded a piece of fish for a taco. Wow were they good. Great flavor. Low key. Have someone camp for a table while you order.

Just to set the stage, I am a fish taco snob. I also am real harsh with reviews for fish places that do not hold up their side of the bargain. That being said, Paia Fish Market did very well. Wife had the Ahi garden salad, I had fish taco's. My fish taco's were one of the best I have... More

My husband and I both really enjoyed the fish tacos at the Fish Market, during our recent trip to Maui. The restaurant is very loud and not because it was busy. There was some sort of fan/ventilation system that made a huge racket. The gentleman that was taking care of clearing and cleaning the tables in the dining room, was... More

A bit crowded, there may be a wait, and most likely you will have to share seating (bench type) at a table. Most important, fish sandwiches are excellent and more than enough; if you order a fish plate, the prices more than double without real gain, probably waste — careful what you order.
