Fresh fish? Definitely not the fried shrimp which was Costco frozen at best. Seafood chowder? If someone can prove to me that was not a store bought new england clam chowder I will pay someone $25 to eat at this dump. Fish tacos? I could have been cat food the way it tasted. You want a fish taco and near... More

Whenever we mentioned Paia to a local, they'd inevitably mention the Paia Fish Market. After a long morning/afternoon on the beach, my husband and I, who were staying across the street at the Paia Inn Hotel, decided to order take out from the Paia Fish Market and eat in our room. The menu had a lot of variety. The ordering... More

We always try to eat here once or twice during our visit to Maui. It's a little out of our way from our resort, but a good stop if you're going to Hana from the airport or Lahaina. The opah fish plate is fantastic! A must every time.

This is always a must stop for us when we come to Maui. About 45 minutes from where we usually stay, but definitely worth the drive. It's not a well-kept secret how great the food is, because the line is frequently out the door! Also, be prepared to make friends with others there, since you're usually sharing a table with... More

Saw an article that they claim to have the best fish burgers. Since it's the only one i ever had, it's hard to say. Bit it tasted damn good to me. Grilled Ono with cole slaw cheese and tomato on a sesame seed roll. (Almost like the theme song)

We had the fish tacos and fish and chips. Tasted great! Place was VERY busy and we had to stand awhile before we grabbed a place to sit. So if it's crowded when you get there, have someone in your party start looking for seats asap! Our "number" got overlooked, and we had to ask about our order when we... More

I wish I knew how to make fish & chips the way they did here. We all ordered it and it was incredible. A tad pricy for fish and chips but so worth it.

The wife got our seating as soon as we arrived. Had the dinner portion of the fish and chips with a bowl of chowder to share. Met a nice family from Iowa as table mates, talked about the good magic we saw in Lahaina. Food is good and reasonable. Ideal lunch spot on the road to Hana.

There is a reason this place is always crowded .. it's good! The food is great, large portions, perfectly grilled fish, great fish tacos. One of the best parts of the Fish Market is sharing your table with locals or other travelers. If you're looking for the fancy (expensive!) version with linen napkins and wait staff, go to Mama's Fish... More

Just off the plane, wanted a quick dinner before heading to hotel. Paia is just 4 miles from Kalahuli so thought we'd give it a try. Fish Market is a tiny, order yourself kind of place. Packed with surfers and locals, we kind of didn't expect much. Ordered mahi fish and chips for $12 each. It was to die for!... More
