It's hard to get a bad meal in Paia---really. For a town that attracts thousands of visitors, restaurants are honest, serve tasty food, and create the desire to return. Moana Cafe has raised the bar. You almost feel guilty ordering the $20 Sunset Special. Three courses, elegantly prepared and plated are the best deal on the island. The regular menu... More

We enjoyed a quick stop here on our way back from Haleakala. We each had suberb pastries and I had a delicious cup of coffee. Service was outstanding. Hard to rate a restaurant so high on just pastries and coffee, but this was excellent.

Looking for a quick meal before our flight, we stumbled into The Moana Bakery & Cafe. It was an unexpected treasure. The food was fresh & inventive. Service was very good. Our only complaint was that it was our last meal on the island and we weren't hungry enough to try more items on the menu including the fresh baked... More

Great service. Clean and modern with small town charm. Great breakfast potatoes- very crisp. We stopped here for breakfast as a part of our bike tour after seeing the sun rise at Haleaka with Cruiser Phil's Volcano Riders who were also great.

A delicious little cafe and bakery in Paia Town. With all the hustle and bustle in Paia it was nice to find a quiet and relaxing diner to enjoy company. One of the few places to earn return trips throughout our stay. Great for breakfast and lunch. Didn't try dinner, but would love to get back and try it.

Definitely consider the daily specials. The regular menu selections and specials will appeal to many different tastes. The atmosphere is casual, yet friendly. I confess that the desserts are always a temptation for me. Highly recommend you plan accordingly and save some room for a sweet treat. Parking can be a challenge depending on what time of day you try... More
