Excellent food and service. The menu was interesting and the waitresses were friendly. The day we stopped in it was an especially hot day for January and the town was very busy as it was a holiday weekend. Not too expensive by Hawaii standards.

Every Maui vacation we make it a point to go to Cafe Mambo. We stumbled upon the cafe about 10 years ago when passing through on our way to watch some big surf. The food is just really good. Simple, healthy, lots of favor. I dream about the key lime cheese cake with passion fruit sauce I had here once.... More

Ate here with a friend while visiting paia but based on this experience would not be back. We were not expecting fine dining, from the casual vibe of the place, but even then, we were disappointed. As with many places in Maui, the items are overpriced for what they are. My 12.95 chicken salad had three tiny pieces of grilled... More

Ate lunch after driving to Mama's fish House and could not get in due to valet parking only (I had a previous bad experience with valet parking). Drove down the road and passed Café Mambo so turned around and tried it. Wonderful food, good value, and great atmosphere. We ate grilled chicken sandwich and fries, and BLT sandwich with salad.... There are way better places in paia. Maybe if everywhete else is full and you have kids and/or a large party, just get a burger and it should be ok. Don't expect much except a really bright restaurant with average everything

I was only in beautiful Maui for a week but stopped here for cocktails at least 4 times! Great atmosphere, great service, good food and the booze....MMM! I mean, I was happy before I got there for happy hour and left ecstatic! :-)

Walked in this place and was treated like family. Told to sit anywhere we wanted and will be with us shortly. Menus were on the table already. When the waitress got too us we had already decided what we were going to have. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and my wife hat a BLT with a salad.... More

Foods choices offer unusual combinations all turning out tasty. The duck fajitas were very good as was the fish. Good drinks, funky atmosphere. We went there on a Saturday night when everything else had waiting times. This turned out to be a piece of luck as Cafe Mambo was one of our best meals on Maui.

We dropped by this little place on the way to the airport and I rather wish I could have stayed longer! There was a lovely, relaxing, cool vibe here - like you knew you were near the beach in Maui but got to eat some yummy, reasonably-priced food and relax from being a tourist for a bit. My husband had... More
