We were looking for a place to pick up a picnic lunch or breakfast to go. Not many choices on the way to Hana so we stopped in. Appeared like a cute eclectic atmosphere. I asked about egg sandwiches.... we're from N.Y....a quick go to meal on the go. The woman being the counter states we don't have that here....(mind... More

We ended up here because the restaurant we wanted to eat at was closed for the day due to a water main break. Luckily we were there for happy hour (3p-6p) which brought the drink prices down 50%. ATMOSPHERE: It's a nonchalant open air older restaurant. The only view is of Baldwin Avenue and people walking by. MENU: Salads, burgers,... More

This is a cute place. It is popular with the locals. We ate here because honestly, there was a parking space available in front. We ordered of the ahi tuna melt and both disliked it very much. The bread was good the sauce was abundant but there was approximately three ounces of fish in it. And to top it off,... More

Was here in Feb 2014 and their Ahi burgers were the best food on the planet. This trip, the fish was not so good, and perhaps 1/3 as thick. Very disappointing. Came back again (dinner). Our waiter wandered up after a bit and said "Thoughts?". The one's I did have, "How about a 'good evening'", "How about telling us what's... More

The atmosphere, sitting next to the open windows with the cool breeze coming through, Awwww. Breakfast was delicious, we recommend the Veggie quesadilla and the Mambo Breakfast Special. Don't forget the Mimosas : )

The town of Pa'ia was busy for lunch. Parking was minimal and we did a lot of driving around before we found a spot. We had chosen another restaurant using Trip advisor but they were no longer in business. This was our next choice and they had a table. I had the Jumbo shrimp mixed plate which was a very... More

The ambience is sort of beatnik, the food is good - the tuna melt made with chopped fresh tuna was excellent, accompanied by very good fries, and a good pint of local ale - service is good. If you are around Paia, this is a good stop for lunch. We enjoyed it.

The burgers were good and the fries were too. The menu, and kitchen were good too. They have another place in New York out on the Island somewhere and it was reflected in their service and atmosphere - a little too to - I couldn't put my finger on it.

We had lunch here twice on our last visit to Maui. Food is fresh, tastes homemade, and reasonably priced. Restaurant is quirky and fun and staff is very friendly. We tried the specials & some menu items. Everything was very good. Portions are very generous. We will plan a meal or two here when we go back to Maui next... More
