The nearly impossible one-punch knockout in boxing is miraculously doubled here. Mana Foods takes Whole Foods out with a right hook and then New Seasons (if you are familiar with those chains) with a left undercut, both within 10 seconds of entering the store. There is no contest when it comes to variety. One vicious blow to each and Mana... More

I stopped here on a whim and am really glad I did. For mainlanders, this is as close to a local Whole Foods as you are going to get, with a fantastic selection of fresh fruit, an unexpectedly high quality variety of organic products like vegan chocolate, and excellent fresh premade selections. I hate a huge plate of delicious kale,... More

Did all my Grocery shopping at Mana Foods. What I loved most was the atmosphere. Everyone was friendly, helpful and authentic. The selection was incredible for a small market. I am Not vegan or vegetarian, but their vegan dessert cart is out of this world. It was a bit on the pricey side but you are paying for high quality... More

Great store with so many options. We stopped here before our journey on the road to Hana. The banana bread was awesome. The store was huge. It seemed to bet bigger with every turn.

People very rude and dumb - being a visitor from an uptight suburban environment I thuoght Maui might be kind of relaxed - it has no island vibe at all - more like the vibe of a mental ward - the ladies if you can call them that - at this store all resemble BIG NURSE RATCHETT, of Ken Kesey's... Mana has everything that a health food store needs to have and them some! The prices are also the best on the Island. We have 2 health food stores that are much closer, one of them a Big National Heath Food Store, but we drive 20 minutes further to go to Mana!

Great store with everything you could ever want in it, great salads and other prepared foods. Well labeled organic products and local products.

We almost missed this place for its shabby exterior. Luckily it was the only place open on a rainy Sunday morning and what a surprise when we walked through the front door--it's like a health food version of Zabar's in Manhattan, or the Park Slope Food Coop in Brooklyn. Yeah, the hippy vibe might get old for those of us... More

I could get lost in Mana Foods. It looks deceptively small on the outside but once you walk inside its clear this is a Natural Food mecca. I went 2 times while on Maui and both trips I spent nearly an hour just wandering the aisles. Great selection and absolutely amazing prices (better than on the mainland). Everyone must stop... More

Rude pushy customers, hygiene-challenged employees. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Makes Whole Foods look sterile by comparison. We heard great things but were greatly disappointed and didn't stay. Ick.
