If you have a special diet, this store will meet your needs. I am gluten free, so even when traveling, I need to look for a grocery for bread type stuff, usually. Here on the island, there aren't many places you can get special diet bakery items. Not only can you get them here, but they have a wider selection... More

A great find. Surprising size inside from the front. Quality foods at mainland organic prices. Great local made cookies and macadamia nut pie.

Better alternative than whole foods - has true local organic & if you don't want to buy a whole box of something - goto the very back & buy just what you need in the bulk section. Granola in bulk was excellent - baked goods in front very good & its busy there for a reason. The only downside is... More

This was a great place to shop on the way from the airport to our bed & breakfast. Great selections of fresh produce (some locally grown, most not), dairy, natural foods, bulk items, coffee beans, a whole wall of chocolate bars, as well as the usual cereals, canned and packaged goods. Think Maui-style Whole Foods or similar on a smaller... More

Although parking is difficult and the store is tiny, MF packs a plethora of great products even hard-for-me-to-find items like kuzu, barley miso, and kukicha twig tea. At the time I was there, I purchased papayas that were somewhat green, but they ripened in a day and were the best papayas that I purchased on the island. I wished I... More

We stopped here for supplies for the road trip to Hana. The chicken curry and the Thai beef in the deli was delicious, and there is a great choice or chips, hummus, sandwiches; just about anything. Definitely recommended for healthy groceries.

First, try finding a place to park, gridlock and impossible parking. Second, its tight and crowded. Third, unless you shopped organic on a regular basis you will not find anything you are remotely familiar with, who knew I would miss Kraft products? If you do go there the leis near the check out are just beautiful. Fresh and fragrant, grab... More

We bought a few sandwiches here to stop and have a picnic lunch while out driving around the island. They were really fresh, tasted great, and were very reasonably priced. Produce section was really good as well. It is definitely one of the better grocery stores we've been to for natural organic foods. They do vegan as well.

Very nice shop to find love of food. All 'organic' and full of energy! The price is not bad and the fruit..... just amazing! Very interesting place to visit in Paia.
