Now, that's a donut

Yummy yummy yummy... Homemade donuts , buns etc... A MUST. Treat yourself on way back down the mountainside after sunrise at Haleakala crater.

Maybe we hit T Komoda's on an off day. We bought the Guava malasadas and long john that had a vanilla custard filling. Was expecting much more than mediocre doughnuts after reading the rave reviews. They were fresh, but it tasted like the oil they used for frying the doughnuts was old, and honestly the filling for both was not... More

Well we love the cream puffs, but I'm pretty certain this visit is our first and last. The clerk was rude and actually tossed the bag of cream puffs onto the counter, would not make eye contact and was generally rude. Disappointing.

Lived on Maui for over 20 years. This is one thing that hasn't changed. These are the best!!! Traditional glazed or stick donuts are tasty and still warm in the early morning.

Call to make sure they are open before making the drive to Makawao. Their cream puffs and stick donuts are worth the drive!

Make sure to go pretty early because they sell out FAST! they sell other kinds of pastries like turnovers, pies or other doughtnuts. The two visits I went had a great... More

My family purposely drove here to taste their donuts and malasadas. Upon entering the premises, I thought I was in the wrong place. The place was dark (considering it was bright and sunny outside) and very disorganized and not to mention, it was not clean at all (considering it is a food place). The food itself is no better than... More

We come here for the cream puffs. They sell out quickly, so get here early. I don't know how we did it, but we got a box of chocolate and vanilla filled cream puffs at 1 p.m. Yum! The malasadas are also nice treats. They sell dinner rolls also. There is so much sugar and butter in them, so they... More
