A general store at work for a number of years. Quite a nice range of sweet pastries made daily, but only 'white standard' bread. Take a look at the artisanal choices for bread in Pai'a if you are looking for something more interesting...further away but worth the drive.

Those fried anpans are my weekness. The stick donuts and the guava malasadas are always a hit and the dobash cake is always a welcome at birthday celebrations.

These donuts on a stick are light and fluffy, not over iced and still taste fresh when you bring them back to the condo and eat them for dessert late at night. The long boy's are stuffed so full with bavarian cream- they're huge and awesome! I wasn't as thrilled with the malasadas (?) as some others but I loved... More

We came off Haleakula early enough to get here soon after they opened. They had a full display of baked goods and we got several to try. By far the most amazing one was a glazed twist donut (not the stick one) My son and I had the same reaction, O M G !! was all that came out of... More

We had read all the reviews and headed out EARLY to arrive at the bakery. You really want to get there before 10 am (perhaps even earlier since all the cream puffs were gone!). However, the highlight of our box of goodies were the chocolate creme filled donuts, the vanilla creme filled donuts, guava filled malasadas, glazed donuts on a... More

The guava filled malasdas are amazing! Do not miss them. We read about it in a few guidebooks and stopped on the way back from the morning sunrise at the crater. Got there around 11:30 and luckily they still had some left!

Fantastic doughnuts on a stick! There really isn't anything else to say here because they were light, fluffy, sweet and super tasty! Our teen wanted a whole bag to himself for lunch. It was hard to share for sure and we were all bummed when we went back for more and they were sold out. Get there early and buy... More

I arrived at Komoda's at 830am and there was only one coconut stick left and the macadamia nut donuts were already sold out! I was so sad. I drove from 30 minutes from Kihei...it's that good!
