Though it was a little pricey, and the boat a little older than we expected, the dinner was good and the staff was super friendly! Jessica was super cheery and very helpful. You have your picture taken when boarding, but they are extra, and of course you are still asked to tip the wait staff. Sunset was a little lacking... More

Pros: good food, beautiful view of sky(when they turn off lights) Cons: small tables very uncomfortable and seats are tied down(probably for safety reasons),boring trip(2-3 miles away off shore and spinning around) You can spend $200 elsewhere and it will be more romantic.

We always spend one evening aboard the Princess for the sunset dinner cruise, enjoying the ocean, the prime rib dinner-fixed onboard!-the maitai's, the great crew(especially Jessica!!), the music, and the romance of being together in such a special place! Having transportation available from our resort enhances the experience...no $15-20 parking fee to pay when it is time to go back... More

We actually went on the Pacific Whale Foundations Sunset Cruise which has two boats. We were on the Discovery, their other boat is the Maui Princess. The meal was excellent especially considering it is all prepared fresh on the boat. We were really lucky that we happened to go on the night of the "Super Moon" - we saw a... More

Cruise was ok, not one i would go out of my way for. Everything was average. There was really no where to walk around on the boat.

Went on the sunset dinner cruise yesterday with my husband. While I will agree that the way the cruise is advertised is misleading, it is still a fun and enjoyable sunset cruise. Don't go in expecting a high class fancy romantic dinner because you will be disappointed. We were seated across from another couple, and kindly asked the staff if... More

We enjoyed an evening out on the water with the Muui Princess Dinner Cruise. The food was good, service was very good and the music was great. I can't remember the captain's name, but it was a woman and she was very good at her job. At one time, I walked past the front of the ship to see the... More

I really enjoyed the experience on the Maui Princess. Although the food wasn't amazing, it was still acceptable. The view of the sunset was great, especially because you get a closer view of the sunset than from a hotel or another resteraunt. Be prepared to possibly share a table with people. Overall, it was pretty good.

We were on our honeymoon in Hawaii and wanted to have a nice, romantic dinner watching the sunset. We figured this would be the perfect opportunity. To start with, the brochure we were given that had a picture of the "Maui Princess" yacht must have been 20 years old. Because the "yacht" we were on was old, run down, and... More
