An Ok dinner

A couple of nights ago, we had dinner at Roy's. The place is beautiful, and the service was good. However, we were somewhat disappointed on the food. I ordered a fish that was overlooked. My husband had the prawns that also where overcooked. Both of my kids had had the ribs, which were cooked... read more

We were disappointed with this restaurant. We ended up have an appetizer for dinner because there wasn't anything very appealing to us on the menu. Also the atmosphere was so loud we could hardly here the other people at our table talking. This is one place we will not be returning.

The fish here is excellent as is most of the food. The service was very intrusive, we had a server at our table almost every 2 minutes and we felt smothered. The ambiance is golf club dull with a huge expanse of space and the noise level is very high. We ate at Roy's in Waikiki and it was much... More

Our traditional first night stop has always been Roy's, even before the move to Ka'anapali. We adhered to our tradition and it was okay, five days later...catastrophe! The service was sketchy, the ribs were dry, reordered and even dryer. Prices are now ridiculous ($49 for seafood pasta that does not list its ingredients) magic is gone....what happened to Chef Joey... More

Delicious desserts, the chocolate soufflé is fantastic, you can ask to add peanut butter in the center, entrées are really good too, I've eaten both lunch and dinner there and at dinner because of the greater number of diners the noise is a problem for anyone with a hearing problem or hearing aids.

We've been to Maui before and we've hit just about every restaurant going. This time around Roy's served up the best meal we had. It was absolute perfection from start to finish: Ahi tuna, butterfish, filet mignon, chocolate souffle...all melt in your mouth. There are better views on Maui, but you can't beat the food at Roy's.

We went specifically for Roy's take on Loco Moco. Excellent! Fun watching golfers hack away while eating a great lunch!
