My husband and I eat here when we come to Maui, and it is a great place, but very pricey. This visit, I had the Kobe beef burger, which was excellent....and it should be for $20. My husband had Hoisin coated baby back ribs. They do such a great job here with fresh veggies and flavors to complement the main... More

The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant to us. We had ocean view seating, although a bit tightly packed. Loved the spicy salsa and edemame dip with chips (not enough chips) and there is where the love ended. Hubby & I split he large Caesar salad which was good.....its actually large enough to feed four! Then, we split the... More

We had eaten here before on a previous trip to Maui. It is a small ocean side restaurant on Front street in Lahaina. You need reservations as the place is small and popular. They have Valet parking next door so that was a bonus. Their Humus platter is a super nice starter and good for a party of three. Comes... More

The setting is great, with open windows overlooking the water your views will never get boring. The menu is very interesting, many organic choices and artisan food, lovely. It is located on the edge of Lahaina and parking is by the street which might be challenging at times but the food was the best we had in town. An added... More

Our experience at Mala was not what we expected based on reviews we read. Although the service from our waitress and her helpers was very good, the food was very average. First, the number of fresh fish they offered was equal to one: mahi mahi. Everywhere else on Maui offers several (3+). It was quite dry and not prepared very... More

A bit off the beaten path, but worth it. Cozy setting ontop of the ocean. Open windows and you will probably see sea turtles playing in the ocean below you. If you like Ahi Tartare, it will melt in your mouth. They also had a grlled octopus salad that was spectacular. Octopus was tender and flavorful. Also, brussel sprouts are... More

This is a cozy place, free valet parking eases the stress of trying to park on this tiny crowded street. The staff are all friendly and the food was fresh and wonderfully crafted. Salsa, chips & edamame "guacamole" started our meal followed by the seared ahi bruschetta with flax seed toast & edamame purée. Yum We sat outside for the... More

Friendly staff, water view and delicious food--what more could you want? Not the cheapest lunch in Maui, but we definitely enjoyed it. Right on the water on front street, which was the attraction for us, and the menu would please just about everyone. The farmer salad was luscious and the colorful julienne cut veggies had a nice crunch. Server Rob... More

The food and the service was good however it seemed to be over priced. I recommend the ceviche. My partner and I got a patio seat which was great to watch the sunset but he was sweating buckets cause there was no fan or air circulation under the awning.

Do not have the mai tai. Advertised as the best in Hawaii, mine tasted like a basic 'rum and orange juice'. You're better off having a Maui beer. The burger was OK; nothing to write home about. Servings are generous, so at least you'll leave full. Overpriced, though. Good service.
