My wife and I stumbled upon this place while looking around Lahaina for a non-chain restaurant to have lunch. What a pleasant surprise! The food was very good (the sizzling garlic shrimp appetizer is a must try). The owner served us and gave some great recommendations for food and also gave good tips for our drive to Hana. Overall, a... More

Lahaina Coolers is a nice place with a wide selction of food and friendly service. It was one of the few open restaurants when hurricane Iselle was approaching. We liked it and went back two days in a row.

Food was very good, casual fare. Open air seating on patio and even restaurant itself is pretty open, so don't expect any A/C. Bar is small, but can get loud...but place never seems to be terribly busy. The pizza's and salads are great.

After coming to Lahaina for 17 years amazed that it took us this long to discover this is gem that only the local seem to know about now. Put it at the top of your list.

We showed up on the early side for dinner. Some of us got lunch menu's some of us got dinner menu's so we asked what was going on and what one we should order from. The waiter seemed confused and then said he would check to see if the potatoes were done and if so we could order off the... More

...as the staff seemed on island time. As we were there for a leisurely Sunday breakfast, we didn't mind. Others might find it annoying. They are a side street with no scenic view, but don't let that stop you. The atmosphere was perfect for breakfast - fresh air, open space, great fabric tablecloths... We had a classic eggs Benedict and... More

I can't attest to the food, but the drinks here are solid! My fiancé and I spotted this nice open-air bar on our last trip to Maui and decided to weather out the rain with a few drinks (which turned out to be a great idea). Our bartender was lively, there were several locals hanging out, and the drinks were... More

Lahaina Cooler is about 2 1/2 blocks off Front Street amid some shops, professional offices and more food choices. While lacking a waterfront view, or any real view at all, there is a great, homey atmosphere. There are definitely more locals here than some of the Front Street establishments. We ordered two orders of the recommended hash and it was... More

We've been going for years. Always good and a great change from expensive hotel breakfasts. We love their fried rice, huevos rancheros, and great piña coladas. Who knew they were perfect for a breakfast drink?

casual, good food and great wait staff. Make fantastic bar drinks. It is off the main drag of Front Street a few blocks up Dickerson.
