I go there every time I am in Maui. Met the owner years ago and he is a really nice fellow. I enjoy the breakfast the most as I like getting up early and hanging out. At night it is mostly locals and that is what I was in the old days. I miss those days to tell the truth... More

We've been here several times over 5 years. The food is great. The atmosphere is, of course, laid-back as is the service so don't be in a NY rush. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast; several Benedict's and Mexican type dishes (they make their own hot sauce). The place is very airy and open so if you have young children a... More

Visited here because we spent the day walking around Front Street and wanted a cold beer. First off, the place was hot. It's an open air type restaurant and has only ceiling fans. Service took a while, and I was surprised that it took so long for two Draft beers when there weren't very many people there. Food was ok,... More

We went as a group of 9 and had a nice night. Outdoors, paper lanterns, friendly waiter and beautiful weather. Nice casual bar/restaurant. Our food was good.

I have only been to Lahaina Coolers for breakfast, but we make it a mandatory stop whenever we have been in Maui. Everyone has been happy with their breakfast choices - from egg white omelettes to their Macadamia nut pancakes. But I always get the huevos rancheros and they are great - the best I have had anywhere. Get them... More

We''ve been eating at Lahaina Coolers for many many years and although we do not stay in the heart of Lahaina now, we still drive back for their breakfasts every year. The food is good, the service is great too..nice to see same faces every year. You have a choice of sitting inside or out..and we'll keep going back.

Every now and then we find ourselves eating here. It's off the beaten path, so it's easy to forget about when deciding where to eat. The service is always great and the portions are very generous, but the quality of the food is inconsistent.

We met friends who live on Maui at Lahaina Coolers. Excellent atmosphere, friendly service, good value. We sat in a location inside near the open door. We had the Evil Jungle pasta linguine with peanut sauce. Very good, huge portion good thing my husband an I split the dish. Our friends one had Coolers Alii Chops, pork chops he said... More

We had the fish tacos and they were good. The hot sauce made it better. It was a nice atmosphere. We were a bit disappointed when we were told that they couldn't give us a larger table for 3 people on the patio, so we were sitting on the inside, which was a bit stuffy.

This was our last meal on Maui. Our scuba instructor had told us this is where the locals eat. I am so glad we stopped in. We started with Crab Wontons. They were very tasty. Then we both got pasta dishes. The Azteca & Shrimp Pesto Linguine. Both were delicious. I was excited about the Pesto was made out of... More
