Innovative dishes in a beautiful setting

We were staying at the Ritz, so this was an easy choice, though I would say easily worth the trip for anyone else staying on the west side of Maui. Our server (Dustin) was one of the most personable and informative people, as is the case with all the staff at the Ritz, which made our evening that... read more

Coming from Northern California and admitting to spending lots of time enjoying food & and wine we were looking forward to our 25th anniversary dinner at the Banyon Tree and wanted to see a menu with prices. They don't publish their prices, our Concierge told us. Message: if you have to ask, don't bother. So we didn't. Shame on that... More

Food was not bad, but nothing special. I marked it average because the waitress twice took my wife's plate away before she was finished. Her service was still warm and friendly but compared to the rest of the resort it put a damper on the evening.

dirty fruit served , and poor service. was not impressed at all, and will not go back. Wait staff response to the filfthy fruit was "good to know". I washed the fruit with my ice water , which turned brown. wait staff never bothered to get me a new water.

We stayed at the Ritz, so this resturant was literally outside our door. Having said that, it is the only place we visited twice on our trip, and we would have even if we were staying elsewhere, it was that good. Thank you Robert for making our trip to Maui just a little better, fantastic. Merci !

A very upscale restaurant with very good food on Maui at the Ritz Charlton at the north end of Napili on Honokahua Bay. The setting is wonderful and the food was unique and flavorful. We had the Harissa Lamb Meat Balls and the House Pappardelle. Both were very good. The Pappardelle could of used a little less salt but the... More

We dined at the Banyan Tree twice during our recent stay at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua. The first night, I had the braised beef short ribs, which were delicious. The second night, I had the filet, which was fine but overcooked. It was not nearly as memorable as my first meal. My husband had the Ahi, which was very good.... More

Had a wonderful dinner while staying at the Ritz. Had a delicious steak although portions were small. Loved the duck buns appetizer as well. Great service and wonderful views.

Last time we were in Maui the Banyan Tree restaurant had not yet been re-opened. So happy that this time it was! Beautiful open air setting, great menu and service and food that was some of the best we had this trip. Hand crafted cocktails were a hit as well as a starter of the Lamb Meatballs with Harissa.
