I had the "luau" plate with a little bit of everything. I was really excited for the Kahlua pork, but I hardly got any meat, it was mostly cabbage. And the Lau Lau was really fatty and not great flavor. We also got the chow funn noodles. Those were really good, but also not much meat, mostly sprouts.
Ate here last year. Came back with friends this year and was the first place we ate. All seating is outside, ocean front. Just good local food. Not tourist prices, just local good food. Have tried lots of different dishes. They've all been good. My favorites are the japanese/hawaii chicken dishes = mochiko and shoyu.
We come here on every trip to get more of a local taste (although I'm fairly sure there are no locals). The Mac salad is really good, along with the BBQ and mixed drinks. We ate here twice during our time on Maui, and weren't disappointed! I highly recommend the Kalua Pig Hash, yummy! Prices were very reasonable, and the servings were large!
