Expecting a tasty and more importantly a delicious Mixed Plate and given our numerous great dining experiences at sister restaurant, Star Noodle, we took our visiting friends to Aloha Mixed Plate for dinner a few weeks back. A waste of time, calories and money. In my 31 years as a professional chef have I ever spoken to management about a... More

We had a late lunch so had limited choice. The setting is great - right on the beach with palm trees and lots of shade. The food, however, was not good. It was greasy and tasteless and served with a style that resembled a canteen. We were not expecting an upmarket place so came with modest expectations. We will not... More

We have eaten there at night. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to enjoy the view. Service was kind. The coconut prawns were good. The LAU LAU and the chicken were awful. We do not recommend this place.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this place to us to enjoy the local cuisine. After a wait, we were seated next to a dirty garbage can....we both ordered the beef teriyaki which came with two scoops of white rice and vegetables. The beef was tough as shoe leather....barely edible. Would not return on your best day......sorry!

We went here once, 3 years ago, and we were blown away. The flavors were intense and the food was fantastic. We were so looking forward to coming back this trip to Maui. We were let down. The kalbi ribs are what we remembered as being so good - this time they were VERY fatty and the pieces of actual... More

Wasn't impressed when we pulled up to the restaurant, thinking that an outdoor restaurant was going to be pest central...definitely wasn't! The food was great, the Mai Tai was wonderful and the atmosphere was laid back and comfortable! Had the mixed plate and we are definitely looking forward to eating there again when we return this fall!

We found this little surprise behind the Cannery Mall while driving along the ocean. The people were wonderful and the food was excellent! We went twice and loved the sounds of the ocean lapping the shore 20 feet away, as well as the lovely scenery of boats and parasailers. The birds put on quite a show and if you aren't... More

These guys are still a must for my family and I when we go to Maui. They have the best happy hour ever and the best tasting Mai Tai's on the island IMO. I love going here because the food is reasonable and those coconut shrimp are just so incredible. I've suggested this place to so many friends and they... More

Awesome food. Poke was the best we had all week. We had the loco moco and the chow fun. Was awesome. Fish of the day was good except for the thinner parts of the fish that dried out during cooking. The happy hour Mai Tais were really good and a great price!
