Fun decor and a fun place to eat

We ate dinner here the first night we arrived for our vacaion on Maui. The food portions were huge and delicious. There is live music each evening, and it's a fun place to visit. We had pasta; buy one entree and the second if half price if you arrive before 6:00. The menu was extensive and we... read more

I have been here a number of times over the years (as I get to Maui at least once a year these days). I nearly always come for breakfast and order the breakfast burrito, or the loco moco, and once, the huevos rancheros. Never disappoints! Service is always quick, efficient, and friendly. The food is exceptional. The flavors in the... More

Visited for dinner as staying local. Fab place, you need a long time to be in there as there is so much to see! Service was really friendly, food was great and a reasonable price. Fish tacos were fab, but very messy, so hog all the napkins you can! The best thing about this place was the great atmosphere all... More

We had breakfast our first full day on Maui. It was close to our condo. There wasn't a host, so we weren't sure where to sit when we arrived, but someone found a place for us. It's a very unique place. Breakfast was very good, and the portions were huge. I think four people could have shared a pancake. By... More

We ate here twice, the first time when just checked in at our hotel for dinner and the second time when we checked out from our hotel for breakfast. It was very easy to walk from where we were staying. At first I was worried as it looked like a hippie café. The food, both times , was very good... More

While staying at the Pink Palace -Kaanapali Beach Club, Java Jazz was the perfect spot to get our coffee after our walk/run every morning. It has a really eclectic way about it and the art pieces are awesome. Great place to just sit and chill. Definitely would go back.

Would dine here even if the food and coffee wasn't good, but both most certainly are. Love the kitschy and eclectic atmosphere and decor. This is a beatnick coffee shop vibe on steroids mixed with what seems to be a very libertarian and ironic sense of humor. Try the breva, really rich alternative to a latte, uses heavy cream. Frittata... More

A very unusual place for dinner but the food was very good. Excellent smoothie. We shared a dinner plate of surf and turf and the lobster was very big and very good. The atmosphere was different. Live music was a nice touch.

My husband and I have been to Maui for three times and will be back again next year and Java Nutz will be a must go on our list... I haven't seen this place on trip advisor I believe people don't list it because it's in a strip mall but the coffee and breakfast is amazing and the waitress Debi... More

We stayed at the wonderful Ka'anapali Beach Hotel, and drove up the coast to explore other bays and beaches. We asked for a good place to stop for lunch, and got this as a recommendation. First of all, we much enjoyed our sandwiches and drinks for lunch. Delicious, imaginative and just what was needed! But the place itself is a... More
