We frequented this restaurant a lot on our vacation as it was in our resort. Staff extremely friendly( buddy is awesome). Food was great. Try to get their rib special on Sunday. I have never seen meatier ribs. Delicious. Their paradise pancakes for breakfast are heaven on a plate. Drinks are cheaper here than all other resorts. Bottles of beer... More

Good food at fair prices. Cafe is right on the beach with an open patio just above the sand. Great spot to have coffee and start the day without breaking the bank!

I gave this place 3 tries since it was on the property of the condo we rented. Each time the service was slow, the staff was unfriendly. FIsh tacos were soggy and couldn't even be picked up. Don't waste time here unless it's a last resort. Good view; however, there's so many beachfront dining restaurants.

Excellent breakfast. Very pleasant service. And you certainly cannot beat the view. Highly recommend this little place if you want to get away from the crowds. Oh yeah, the hash browns are the best.

Just a short walk up the beach from the Royal Lahaina Resort is this nice, casual beach bar/cafe. It's a great place to grab a drink or lunch if you are snorkeling the reef, or just beaching. There seems to be a nice mix of locals and tourists. Friendly staff, good food, reasonably priced. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and... More

The restaurant is open for breakfast lunch and dinner however I prefer the breakfast. I think it is the best value. Try and get seated outside I don't know of any other restaurant in that area where you can be as close to the water as this restaurant. It is located in the Maui, Kahanapali Vilas. Parking can be a... More

An unexpected and delightful dinner. Right on the beach with a beautiful sunset. Delicious sea food selection and wine selection. We had the seafood Panang curry and a caeser salad. super service and clean. It was a perfect meal and setting.

First night in Maui, we had a fabulous Mai Tai, blacken fish tacos, beautiful ocean view, and Buddy was our very friendly waitress. I would go back to Castaway Cafe next time we are there.

Castaways is my favorite place for breakfast in all of Maui. Unless you are staying at a hotel nearby you probably wouldn't even know it is there but it is totally worth a visit! Their fruit boat is absolutely delicious and some of the freshest and juiciest fruit I have ever tasted with a special little sauce on the side... More

We are so thrilled we found this place. We loved it! What a great meal and the view is unbeatable. We highly recommend it and definitely request Buddy as your waitress! She is one of the best servers we have ever had-funny, charming, excellent service. By the end of the meal, you wish you could hang out with her! The... More
