Best Ribs on Maui

On Sunday nights this quaint little restaurant serves extremely tasty ribs. The dinner, in my opinion, is too large for one person so we split the meal. It comes with bread, coleslaw, and we had the baked potato. The slab of ribs is the largest I've ever had from a restaurant. The restaurant is... read more

We ate here on a couple of occasions since it was on the property where we stayed - service was friendly on all visits. Most people will probably end up inside, as the outside dining area is kind of small - go early if you want to sit outside. The rundown: Dinner - we split a fish sandwich because we... More

this restaurant was somewhat of a greasy spoon one. The service was friendly enough. The eggs we ordered were barely cooked but they happily fixed them. The hot water for my tea was tepid. Fruit dish was good but basic. I did not return because breakfast is the easiest meal to make and I can make it far better myself.... More

Maui is an expensive place to visit and dine. But, all that changes when you eat at the Castaway Cafe. It's reasonably priced, the food is excellent, the service is friendly and great, and you have ocean front views. The resorts/restaurants in the area will typically charge $30+ each for breakfast - you can both eat at Castaways for that... More

The best location ever! I love this place. We saw a ton of whales while didning, beautiful spot to have a meal!!! The patio tables are right on the beach. The omelettes are fantastic, the service is quick and friendly. Prices are great. If they have homefries be sure and order them. Coffee is real good. I wish we would... More

The Castaway Cafe is tucked in between Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Beach Resort and Royal Lahaina Hotel. You can walk to it on the boardwalk along the beach. This is a perfect place for good food and casual dinner with the wonderful sound of the waves right outside. Highly recommended.

We loved to walk down the boardwalk and have breakfast at the Castaways. The wait staff were very polite and seemed to really care about their customers. The food was very good and the scenery was the beautiful white beach with whales breaching. We will do this place again!

Hidden on the beach walk, this is a great spot for a casual breakfast. Don't miss the patio seating overlooking the ocean. Breakfast offerings are very good. The atmosphere is unrushed; you can relax and soak up the sun and surf
