Great food... Thanks Scotty!

We waited much longer for our table than we would have liked. Having a 7:30 reservation but not seated til 8:15 or so. Then came our cook Scotty making us laugh non stop and cooking us the best meal of our trip. We will definetly come back to Kobe. They were so busy Thursday night, but the meal... read more

In the spirit of full disclosure, we didn't stay for the meal. Checked in, was sent to bar, waited for table, watched bartender and waiter at bar hand wash four wine glasses to remove the debris! Was seated at a terribly crowed table with no room to move, menus were dirty with food. Prices par to high. After no service... More

If I could give them zero stars I would, did not even get to eat, had reservations for 7:30 PM, they directed us to wait in the bar, after 30 minutes asked hostess when would be seated, she stated soon. At 8:05 we were seated, I noticed the group sharing our station had ordered sushi, thought that was weird. At... More

We came here twice for sushi while on our vacation. This place has delicious sushi rolls like the rainbow roll, spicy tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll! The rolls are quite large which is great. You must try 'DYNAMITE'... It has shrimp, scallops and vegetables baked with a delicious sauce and we ordered a side of rice to eat with... More

The restaurant was dingy and kind of dirty. The bartender was an old cranky guy. The chef was not very entertaining and we waited almost an hour after our reservation for service. The food was average and on the expensive side. I didn't taste very fresh. I've been to several teppanyaki style establishments and this was one of the worst,... More

We have been visiting Maui for a number of years, which always includes a couple visits each time to Kobe's and have not once left here disappointed. Glad to see that they continue to offer great food and a fun dining experience!

We've been disappointed with the Teppanyaki here recently. Has always been a favourite but is losing something. But guys (and gals), the SUSHI at the sushi bar is awesome. Try the Lahaina Roll. Has fresh sprouts on it. Fantastic. 5 stars for the sushi. 3 stars for the Teppanyaki.

Really impressed with the quality of the food here. We sat at the sushi bar and had amazing food made fresh by the chef to order in front of us. A little pricey but totally worth it for the quality of the food. Ambience is nothing fancy at all, but great food.

Our group of nine - parents, kids and grandparents - had a wonderful time at Kobe Steakhouse. The atmosphere was lively which was perfect for the kids, yet not too loud for grammy and grandpa. Everyone was entertained by the chef's skills, especially when he juggeled the knives so deftly and flamed the teppanyaki -lots of oohs! and aahs! The... More
