I come here whenever I'm in Maui. I love this place! It's so much fun! The food is always good, the drinks are delicious and you get an awesome show while your dinner is being cooked. My husband and I love sitting at the tables and meeting new people. We'll be going back very shortly!

We ate here twice during our stay. In addition to preparing the food at your table, they have a dedicated sushi bar, which makes this a one stop for the Japanese food addict. Reservations are recommended, and they offer a $5 rebate toward the $10 for parking across the street. You can park there all evening, but you have to... More

Always fun having teppanyaki and the show that goes with it. Kobe was more or less on par with the others. But let's start from the top! Arrived about 18 minutes late for our 6:00pm reservations, due to no fault of our own. We left the hotel in plenty of time, but ran into construction and the subsequent bumper-to-bumper traffic... We have a Kobe steakhouse where we live so we were excited to stumble upon this place since we love sushi and teppan! Unfortunately, it wasn't nearly as good in more ways then one :( First, the hostess NEVER broke a smile...poker face maybe?!?! Anyway, we ordered sushi and it was ok, not great but not bad either. Our chef... More

We chose this place for dinner our 1st night in Maui just to provide some entertainment for the kids. The teppanyaki of course entertained but the food itself, mediocre! My issue is the ventilation system in the whole 2-story restaurant. The grills create so much smoke so the air is thick. The service from the waiters, eh! He forgot to... More

We went here because the kids wanted sushi and it was close to where we were staying. The sushi was good, a little on the expensive side, but the service was awful. If it hadn't been that we were hungry and had started to order I would have gotten up and left. It took forever for all of us to... More

My kids love the experience & food at this type of place (Benihana style) so we go. The food is tasty and the prices, for Maui, are reasonable. The hostess staff is terrible, however, and the building itself quite unappealing. During our recent trip to Maui we went here twice (for the kids). The first time we were seated relatively... More

The food was very tasteless, burnt, everyone at our table felt the same and had to pack their food to go with them. They don't marinate their meat and all the food is burnt, my son left hungry because there was nothing for him to eat except rice. We waited for almost an hour too before we got food cooked.... More

We always make it a point to eat at Kobe when we stay in Lahaina. We have never been disappointed with the drinks, service, entertainment or food. It is a very relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy the company of what were strangers when you walked in. The price for what you get is great. Some of the best beef... More
