We wanted to sit by the beach while eating and this was the place for people watching. Service was fast and the food was very good. My husband had the fish and chips which he said was very good, just a bit short on the tarter sauce though. I had a lava lava while waiting for our meal and it... More

I've been traveling to the Hawaiian Islands for many many years and I never miss an opportunity to eat at Leilani's on the Beach. This truly has to be one of the greatest places to dine/snack and people watch on the Kaanapali Beach strip. Make sure you always save room for Hula Pie...a must to at least sample!!!

There were 4 of us sitting at a corner table outside. It was lovely to be outside, except that once the sun set, some of us got a few mosquito bites. It wasn't so many bites as to be unbearable, but if you hate being bitten, you may want to bring Deet or sit inside. Our server was excellent, but... More

We ate in the dining room, which is elevated so we could still see the sunset. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. The food was great and service was excellent.

We recently visited Leilani's Beachside Grill while on Maui. The burgers and fish tacos were good, but the recommended Mai Tai left much room for improvement. The prices keep increasing from year to year with many of the entrees $17 and up. You do have a great view of Molokai and beautiful sunsets around 6:30 PM.

Located in Whaler's Village, it overlooks the beach and water. Perfect view of the sunset. Many people ask for a "rail" table which has an unobstructed view of the water. The food was excellent and, while pricey, not ludicrously high like Mama's FIsh House. Here the prices were what I would expect to pay at a higher end restaurant in... More

It's in the beach-front part of Whaler's Village (that's a modern outdoor shopping center) right next to the Westin and was mostly frequented by guests at the neighboring hotels. The food was Ok but not memorable and we were't impressed nor did we return. It is convenient and they did have some entertainment, but like the other restaurants in that... More

Four of us dined at Leilani's on the Beach our first day in Maui and absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was exceptional and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and the view outstanding. Remember to bring your parking stub so that it can be validated (parking at Whaler's Village is expensive). I would definitely dine here again.

Like almost everything in Maui, the place is over priced and the food s OK. We had cockroaches jumping out of the stone wall, not too much fun.

Great location and good food. When you make your reservation, be sure to note if you want the outside seating or inside (I forgot and we ended up inside…) I think menus might be slightly different inside and out so be sure to check that as well. Good meal.
