Boy, I do not understand all these rave reviews. We went here for a 20th wedding anniversary, the reservations were made weeks in advance and they failed to honor a request to seat us with a view. Although the waitress was fine, the decor and food was pretty bland. There are many place to eat in Maui - go elsewhere.

We are here last night, say at bar waiting 10 minutes for table, great friendly bar service..was tempted to sit there all night and skip the food. You have choice of bar food/sandwiches or formal/steak and seafood retaurant..Kids menu and portions were good and the fish tacos are great ($18) family of 4 for son $100..like it and better than... We ate here because it was one of the restaurants right on Kaanapali beach where we had been swimming. It is an outdoor restaurant and there was live music for a short time. The atmosphere is very lively. It's incredibly busy and crowded. The food is pretty good but expensive. I got two fish tacos and a few corn chips... More

We skipped the entrees and put together appetizers and salads, and shared a dessert, and had the best meal of our vacation. The braised pork belly was, well, it was honestly the best bit of pig I've ever had. The butter poached day-boat scallops were melt-in-your-mouth, really. The Maui Fresh salad was outstanding and with all local ingredients. And Kimo's... More

We had both lunch and dinner at this restaurant and found the food to be just okay. However, the location can not be beat. It is on the beach and very convenient.

This restaurant has an upstairs dining room (which accepts reservation) and a more casual (1st come 1st serve) downstairs with a separate menu. We reserved a table for our last night stay in Maui for a family of 4. The kids ordered from a kids' menu and the adults from 'dining' menu. The selection was OK if somewhat limited. I... More

My husband and I have been going to Leilani's for over 30 years and sadly, it has gone downhill to the point I don't want to go back. We went this week and the service was bad (we had a bad waiter) and the food was mediocre. We ordered an appetizer and the our dinners came half way though them.... More

We visited this place multiple times on our recent trip to Maui. I highly recommend the sriracha-guava wings and the hula pie - an amazing dessert. Eat at the beachside grill.

I used to go to Maui every year of my life since I was three months old. I have spent over a year of my life there, and I have not been to a better restaurant on the island than Leilani's. Not only is the food incredible, but it reminds me of my childhood which I love. The Hula Pie... More

Leilani's on the Beach is always one of our frequent stops. I love seeing the same servers year after year. Sadly, the prices have increased, which is no surprise. The "Aloha" hour prices are still better than what you can find at the resorts. Live music Wednesdays-Sundays. We always get the Fish Tacos (which can be purchased as a single... More
