I have been to Gerard's several times on business, and every time, it is exceptionally delicious. This time around I tried the escargot and it was wonderful. I always get the steak, and it is always so good. For desert, I tried the honey ice cream which was great, but I would have prepared their other signature desert dish which... More

We ate at Gerard's 25 years ago when we got married in Hawaii and it was so nice to go back and find it still one of the best restaurants in all of Hawaii. It is located in a plantation type house with a front porch where we dined and the food leaning toward the French side was wonderful. My... More

Excellent food and service! Even the kids menu food was delicious. Personally, I feel that that means a lot and sets the good from the great restaurants apart. Why should your children eat crappy food when you aren't. I would recommend it! Romantic atmosphere and also nice for the family.

Gerard's offers a magical, romantic dining experience that is perfect for couples. The plantation house provides a beautiful ambiance. We ate on the veranda and adored it. We ordered the 8-course seafood tasting menu with wine-pairing, which could not be beat. It's definitely worth the $$$$ price tag. My favorite course was the sorbet topped with champagne! Truly a memorable... More

Amazing food, stellar service, beautiful setting. Ask to dine on the front porch, it is charming. Save room for dessert!

The meal we had was an experience. The chilled cucumber soup was just so flavoursome. We had the catch of the day which was cooked in a delicate, aromatic sauce. The creme brûlée was one of the best I have had. We had the corner table on the veranda which we thought was the best in the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Gerard's is truly a fine dining experience. Our server was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and a master in explaining the menu selections. I thought my selection was very appetizing, but not very large. Gerard's brought us bread before the meal which served as a nice appetizer. The wine menu is unbelievable.

Gerard's is an utterly fabulous restaurant in Lahaina on Maui. Who expected food as delicious and well prepared as we've had in Paris? We were blown away by the fois gras served on "French toast," (taste macadamia reduction and custard here). Outstanding, perfectly cooked! We dined the first night we arrived on the seafood prix fixe menu. Course after course... More

If you are travelling to Lahaina, please have dinner at Gerad's. We had the seafood degustation menu paired with wine and it was so delicious. A wonderful evening.

I loved this restaurant. It is in a beautiful old plantation house, but lacks a view. It has a Wine Spectator acknowledged wine cellar. The food, although a bit dated in style, was absolutely perfect. Professional staff and reasonable prices (compared to others in Lahaina in the same category). I miss places like this as they are falling out of... More
