Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.

Great meal

Very clean resturant and well decorated. It's very busy but with the wait or reserve a table. I had the grilled yellow snapper fish and it was wonderful. The food was a little pricy but very good. Had a mango Colada and it was better than the piña colada. The family enjoyed there meals as well.

I made a reservation a few months in advance of my Maui visit. I picked this so we could watch the sunset. However, when we arrived for dinner, we were told there were no tables on the main level, we would be seated upstairs. This was NOT okay with me. So I cancelled my reservations for a party of four,... More

We ate dinner upstairs and were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset. You are able to select your fish and then choose the preparation. Everything was well prepared and delicious.

We decided to forego any reservations and see where the night took us, and after checking with the friendly staff at Kimos we decided an hour wait was the perfect amount of time to stroll around and do some shopping while we waited to be seated. They gave us a pager which works for about a 6 shop radius, however... More

We had a nice lunch sitting right by the ocean. We had a coupon for a free Hula Pie and had no idea it was so big. It took all four of us to finish it. It was awesome. Be sure to get it.

Last night in Maui we ate here. We sat down at around 5 15ish, so were able to watch the sunset through dinner. Beautiful views and great outdoor seating with good shade cover as well. Lava Flow and Moscow Mule cocktails were delicious. Kula Pork lettuce wraps were phenomenal and Coconut covered fish was yummy! Highly recommend!

We stopped here for lunch. There are no vegetarian options so I had a Caesar salad which was really yummy. I also shared the hula pie with my hubby and it was delicious. My husband had a burger and he liked it. I would come again for the same selections and the view!

Make 4:45 reservations for a table on the water. The caesar salad and coconut shrimp with a glass of wine is excellent.

Our group of 4 all had fish entries for lunch and they were delicious. Good service (especially considering how busy they were).

The location is amazing with an incredible view. Try to go for lunch or an early dinner to enjoy it before the sun goes down. Food was good but and reasonably priced for the area and the quality. Service was at the level of a good casual restaurant but does not rise to the level of fine dining.
