Description: Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.

Ocean view with a gentle breeze is always a plus in my book. Although they were out of their $29.99 14oz Prime Rib special their Filet Mignon was done to perfection. The chicken was tasty but said to be a little dry. The Hula pie is definitely big enough to share and enjoyed by all. The highlight to our evening... More

We ate a Kimo's twice while visiting Maui. The food was exceptional and the Hula Pie is "to die for", yummy!! Kimo's is located right on the beach so the atmosphere and view is tremendous.

We ate here our last night on Maui, as a special treat. We got a great seat on the upstairs lanai, a wonderful place to watch the sunset. This meant an early dinner (5pm reservation!) but it was lovely to watch the sun set as we ate. The calamari is amazing, nice this pieces with just a bit of breading.... More

Ate here for lunch. Atmosphere and location are the reason for eating here. The menu has enough variety but the food was lacking. It was pretty average and we expected more from such a well know place. My wife had a Pacific Paradise?? drink which she enjoyed. I had a Mai Tai which once again, I felt was lacking. Especially... Excited to try this place because we'd had such fabulous food at Duke's and Hula Grill on Waikiki Beach (same restaurant group). Great view--seated overlooking the water. Service just okay. I could have used some more water. I had the coconut-crusted island fish (striped marlin). It was cooked perfectly and delicious. My sister-in-law ordered the fish and chips (mahi). It... More

Seems sort "touristy" but our lunch was great-I had a beet salad with shrimp and hubby had fish of the day-Opa with a nice basil sauce. Not too pricey and the scenery can't be beat. Go to Kimos!

My wife and I went to Kimo's for dinner on our second night in Maui. We came here 5 years ago on our honeymoon, and it's still as good as it was 5 years ago. The restaurant sits right on the ocean, so the views are good both upstairs and downstairs. The bread was piping hot and delicious, especially a... More

Between 3 - 5 Kimo's has Aloha Hour. Not a lot of options but what they have is reasonable, delicious and the view cannot be beat for our first day in Maui! Now we are truly relaxed and feeling the Aloha spirit ! Mahalo Kimo's !

Eat on the deck looking out on the ocean and boats outside the harbor. Very large tree and large umbrellas so plenty of shade plus the ocean breeze. Fish and chips was ver good. My wife had fresh Mahi also very good. Famous for creating the Hula pie if you have room. Enjoy!

The view and atmosphere were a great Hawaiian feel. Had apps and drinks at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and made some great cocktails.
