Chicken pot pie, meat hand held pie, sweet corn hand held pie, coconut cream pie and key lime pie, and a Reuben sandwhich Four of stopped at the really unlikely looking place on the side of the road as we had read about it in one of the maui books and the pies of all sorts were delicious. The pot... More

On the way to west Maui, pull over on a dusty, dirt side road into Leoda's, a kitschy, shabby chic restaurant known for its hand held pies. The mac nut, coconut cream pie was delicious. While the descriptions of the burgers sounded interesting, the flavors of a frozen(?) patty and meh toppings didn't do much for me.

Make sure to stop on your way to Lahaina from the airport. This is usually our first stop, to grab a pie. You won't be disappointed with the banana cream (my favorite)! I've never eaten brunch or dinner here, but the pies are my main reason for stopping. Sometimes demand is high, so you may want to call and make... More

Loved everything about Leoda's. Had a terrific club sandwich, tried a mini coconut cream (yum) and my favorite-the to die for lime. The decor is really cozy and laid back as well. Wish I could go back right now...

They absolutely make the best pie crust I have ever had. I sampled their pie crust in their hand held savory pies. Their salad dressing was very good as well as we paired a garden salad with the pies. Service wound up being slow-something to do with the printer malfunctioning in the kitchen. Because of the wait, she offered us... More

We called in a take away order for several different people. Leoda's had no problem with us passing around the phone and everyone giving their own order. All the orders were ready when we arrived. Love the avocado cucumber sandwich on whole grain bread. Good food for the airplane.

Great chicken pot pie! A bit pricey for the size - only 5" but Maui is expensive. Good quality ingredients. Salad delicious and generous for only $6. Unfortunately they ran out of their other little pies so we couldn't try any of the dessert pies which was a bummer since that appears to be their main attraction thus their name.

A couple years ago we visited Maui and I have been thinking about the adorable little personal-sized banana cream pie I had here. Consequently this was our first lunch stop when we visited this week. The banana cream pie was awesome and just as I remembered it (altho it really is enough to share unless you are super hungry or... More

The banana bread. Oh, the banana bread. Sigh. And the other food is well worth waiting on breakfast until the drive to mile marker 14. Quaint, cute, efficient, tasty.
