During our time on Maui we always pop into Ohana Tacos for fish tacos. This time things were a little different. Very polite service as always, but the food was bland. Fish was tasty and well cooked, but everything looked like it was just thrown together. Our son had the tacos al pastor which he said were very tasty. The... More

The fish tacos here were the bomb!! Super big portions of fish tacos, great flavor, and came with side of rice and beans. Muy delicioso. The downside is that they don't sell fish tacos without the platter, so if you're looking for just one fish taco, you can't get it here. The service was also quite slow. We came around... More

This restaurant is really a large taco stand with some indoor and some outdoor seating. It is in a small strip mall next to 5A rental. The fish was Ono and the tortillas homemade. We went around 11:45 and were served quickly and found a place to sit next to the parking lot. Not a lot of ambience but great... More

Family went out for dinner on a Saturday night. Menu was good, food was good but it took 50 minutes to get fish tacos. I rated them down because of long wait for food. We were eating on patio but most patrons were getting food for take out. They simply didn't have enough staff for a weekend. Families with young... More

If you want fresh oh no tacos this is the place for you. $10 for two huge tacos plus re-Fritos and rice and all the salsa you want. They are prepared almost instantaneously and you can either sit outside or inside on stools. They have a full menu of Mexican food but we like the fresh ono fish tacos and... More

We were shown this place by locals on our last trip. We visited again this trip and the food was just as good and the people were just as friendly. We are from So Cal and have family in Mexico, so this isn't the best Mexican food ever BUT is the best Mexican food in Maui.

I was so hungry for Mexican food after being on Maui for 2 weeks. Decided to try Ohana. The fellow behind the counter was charming and helpful. Food came out fast. The fish tacos were good--not as good as the best place at home, but so far the best we've had on Maui. The rice and beans were a little... More

We ordered the fish tacos and the shrimp tacos. They come with refried beans and rice sides. There are two tacos which are large and you'll need two hands to get through these. Both the fish and the shrimp tacos were very good and generous in the portions (more so for the fish). There is a self serve area for... More

Been searching for over 10 years for authentic Mexican food on Maui. Found it!!! They moved out of their food truck to a bricks and mortar restaurant. While not a lot of sitting room outside, Ohana tacos is good for take out or eat in. Carne asada in warm corn tortillas with charred tomato salsa awesome, but the carne al... More

My one meal here this year ( a beef quesadilla) shot through me like a missile. Not going too chance another episode. Last year was good but even then I found a chicken bone in my food.
