We were shown this place by locals on our last trip. We visited again this trip and the food was just as good and the people were just as friendly. We are from So Cal and have family in Mexico, so this isn't the best Mexican food ever BUT is the best Mexican food in Maui.

I was so hungry for Mexican food after being on Maui for 2 weeks. Decided to try Ohana. The fellow behind the counter was charming and helpful. Food came out fast. The fish tacos were good--not as good as the best place at home, but so far the best we've had on Maui. The rice and beans were a little... More

We ordered the fish tacos and the shrimp tacos. They come with refried beans and rice sides. There are two tacos which are large and you'll need two hands to get through these. Both the fish and the shrimp tacos were very good and generous in the portions (more so for the fish). There is a self serve area for... More

Been searching for over 10 years for authentic Mexican food on Maui. Found it!!! They moved out of their food truck to a bricks and mortar restaurant. While not a lot of sitting room outside, Ohana tacos is good for take out or eat in. Carne asada in warm corn tortillas with charred tomato salsa awesome, but the carne al... More

My one meal here this year ( a beef quesadilla) shot through me like a missile. Not going too chance another episode. Last year was good but even then I found a chicken bone in my food.

I split the fish tacos and nachos with my wife. The tacos were very good and the chicken nachos were great. Service was a little slow but when they make to order it's expected.

We end to this place about 3 times because my husband absolutely loved their "carnitas" and "chorizo" tacos. I had a chicken burrito didn't care much for it not the following time I tried the "carnita" tacos and they were very good.

I love their fish taco but get it grilled. The fried (to me) is a bit greasy. I like the little salsa bar too!

Because of the sign that indicated Ohana Tacos had been voted best on Maui by Tripadvisor, my husband and I stopped there for lunch today. He ordered the fish tacos, and I ordered a bean and cheese wet burrito. We both commented on how bland our food was. There was simply no pizazz to the meals, even after adding salsa.... More

There are more and more Mexican restaurants in Maui. The best bet is the grilled ( not fried) fish tacos and they are big
