Ocean front Bar

Umalu was great to sit back and relax. You had the ocean behind you with a couple of big screen TV's around to watch whatever game was on. The staff were friendly and always on top of drinks (which was totally brilliant). The food was great. I would definitely be happy to eat there again.

Excellent service, wonderful cocktails and drinks. Very good food. Limited menu. Nice, central location in the Hyatt.

This is the beach side / pool side eatery at the Hyatt Regency Ka'anapali. They make a great Mai Tai, have quick easy food if you are at the pool or walking the trail along Ka'anapali Beach. Nothing is cheap at the Hyatt but the prices were reasonable for the quality. Try the catch of the day fish and chips.

Tried the "Uncle Kimo's" Ahi Poke Nachos, Kahlua Pork Sliders and Potato Fries. They were tasty, but nothing to write home about. We were rather disappointed that we couldn't order coffee because their machine was broken. Umm.... there are 3 other restaurants on the property and they could have used one of the two-cup coffeemakers from the hotel rooms if... More

Food is awesome here and super quick, even by the pool. Arrived hot and delicious - be warned, some of the portions are huge. Hummus platter was truly fabulous!

We enjoyed the fish tacos, burgers and the drinks poolside here. The food and service exceeded our expectations for poolside dining.

With only drinks and an appetizer, we were convinced we have to return. They were great with very nice atmosphere. A bonus was a clear view of the gorgeous night sky.

This place was over-priced and the food was ok. The service left a lot to be desired. Drinks start at $15 each and they were not very good! And a small pizza cost us $29. The server was forgetful but very nice.

We ate lunch here twice during our stay. We were able to sit at the bar and get a much needed break from the sun. The food is pricey, but on par with other restaurants at lunch on kaanapali beach. We got the hamburger and chicken sandwich. Both were good. The portions are large, so we didn't end up finishing... More
