You have to stop here if you can find it. It will be a job but well worth it. But do get there early before lunch or you will find it closed and out of food. There donuts at very large and reasonably priced. I regret that it took me so long to learn about the Bakery and find it.... More

The baked goods are huge and average in price around $2.00. Went there twice, with the wife and tried the cherry turnover, custard and cherry filled doughnut, chocolate muffin and almond bear claw. With the exception of the almond bear claw, which was only almond flavored and not filled, everything was very fresh and delicious. Go there in the morning,... More

We were sooo excited to try some Malasadas at The Bakery. We got there too late, though. They sold out. But that was okay because I wouldn't have wanted to spend my money at a place whose employee made me feel like I was putting her out. Maybe she was having a bad day.

While on the main island we were so busy sight seeing that we failed to have a legendary malasada. So once here in Maui we decided to do some research on where to get our little hot L.A hands on some. We even went to the local market to ask locals where to find some. Surprisingly, malasadas are popular on... More

After reading reviews and hearing locals talk about this place we were excited about trying this. However, from the time we drove up to the time we questioned what we were thinking. Very disappointing, expensive and little selection.

Just Bad. Not worth going to. No selection....if you want something special go to the Komoda Bakery in Makawa but make sure to get there before 9 am if you want anything they sell out fast. Try the donut on the stick or apple turnovers

What a gem of a find, got to try the cronut - filled with jam and custard, French toast is yummmmmmy. Great selection but you have to go early to get all the good stuff. The purple taro root buns had an interesting taste...All stuff is always fresh - no regrets.

Not much to look at..inside or out..but pastries to die for! It's in a bit of a tucked away location. We found it using handheld GPS. It was worth looking for. We bought several different types of donuts and enjoyed every crumb! Beware..it's CASH ONLY..so don't go in expecting to use your credit card!

The Bakery is a great little find in Lahaina. If you are staying at one of the resorts and don't wish to pay $30 per person for breakfast, then go here. We were able to get breakfast for four (delicious breakfast) for under $15 a day! And that included good coffee. They have a huge variety of pastries and some... More

Harold and Keiko Hardcastle have been there for 35 yrs and for a good reason. Not only do they supply almost all the baking goods for the Lahaina, Kaanapoli, and Kapalua resorts, they have a wonderful walkin business. Location is tough but well worth the drive. Go early because they are low on inventory by 11:00am.
