Dine here twice during our stay. New chef and the menu has improved. First night excellent service, second night needed a little help. You will need reservations

We enjoyed this meal on our first night at the Westin Ocean Villas. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. It was outstanding! My daughter and I ordered off of the sunset menu (offered btw 5:30 and 6:00pm); a three course menu for $39.95 and my husband and son ordered off of the regular menu. The sunset menu was... More

We were staying at westin and got $$ for attending their time share presentation. We used dollars at Pulehu. Food exceeded our expectations but were disappointed by service. It took a while for our waitress to arrive. She seemed like she was in a hurry and had too many tables to cover.

While listed as an Italian cuisine, I found the offerings not up to par with other Italian restaurants I have eaten in. The Fetticine Alfredo was a small portion and the sauce was a bit light.

Our party of eight (6 adults, 2 children) took advantage of the early bird $39.95 three course tasting menu, available 5:30 to 6:00 pm. It was a fantastic value! The entrees are full sized and there was a large selection of choices for appetizers and entrees. I recommend the duetto of bruschetta appetizer and the mahimahi entree, both excellent. Other... Like a lot of restaurants in Hawaii, the hosts at Pulehu are a waste of space and actually detract from the experience. On the three nights we visited 2 or 3 staff were taking amongst themselves and playing on the computer when guests were standing right in front of them. Surely one of them could have performed the task they... More

Loved the open air concept of the restaurant. The bartender at the bar was a lot of fun, so if nothing else, go for one of his great martnis. We only waited about 15 minutes for a table,on a weekday, but it was off season,so I would definitely make a reservation, any other time. Our waitress was very nice, attentive,... More

Ate here our first night on Maui as we are staying at the Westin Villas. Hoped to enjoy several meals here as so convenient, however we were disappointed and judged service was lacking and unfriendly; meal preparation average. Maybe server had an off night, don't like to be negative but it took great effort to get any attention. Not once... More

On our last night we decided not to drive anywhere and made a reservation at Pulehu. I specified that it was our anniversary so asked if we could have a table beside the Koi Pond. I was told that would be no problem. Upon arriving, the maître d' seemed quite distracted by everything else - spent a lot of time... More

We ate here two different nights during our stay at the Westin Ka'anapali villas. One of us is a vegetarian and the other eats meat. Before our meals, the waiter brought out breadsticks with a pesto sauce and butter w/salt. My partner and I both had the arugula and roasted beets salad--although I usually love all of the flavors in... More
