delicious

really good food but found our lobster cabonara to be too salty. Everything else we had was delicious and in a great atmosphere.

You would expect a restaurant in a classy place like a Westin Resort would be top notch. Not so. Dining with my family, the service was spottey at best; and took forever to deliver drinks. Their entrees are pricey but not up to standard. The Kona Lobster and fettucine was a lot of pasta and damn little evidence that a... More

The Pulehu was a very nice evening restaurant at the Westin Villas. We especially enjoyed the Calamari, as the diameter of the pieces were as large as a mozzarella stick. There was a good wine selection also.

We stay the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Villas North, so why not eat here as well? I enjoyed my meal here more than I did at The Plantation House in Kapalua, and spent a lot less as well. When my wife made a reservation she asked for a table closest to the koi pond, and the hostess honored the request. These... More

Pulehu was a last-minute dinner choice for us on a night my husband and I were able to sneak off for dinner by ourselves. This being our first trip to Maui we didn't know getting dinner reservations for before 8pm can be tricky, and since we were staying at the neighboring resort (and they had a reservation available) we decided... After reading the reviews on this spot, we decided to try it out. The atmosphere is lovely, especially from our lovely little banquette for two. Our server, Barbara is a definite asset to this establishment and the Sommeleir hand selected the perfect bottle of wine. The gnocchi are unlike anything we have had before and were amazing, the veal chop... More

We didn't have a reservation but found that the "high" table in the front is for people like us who pop in. The service was world class and the food was great. The steak I had was perfect and my wife's fish was outstanding. Their wine by the glass list includes Higher end wine that added to the experience. In... More

We had the best meal we've ever eaten in Hawaii at Pulehu. Because it is a hotel restaurant and "Italian" in Maui seems a bit oxymoronic we were skeptical. Reservations are required and the restaurant juts out over a large coy pool. There is an excellent wine list and great menu choices. But specifically our dinners were fabulous: arugula and... More

The setting of this restaurant is beautiful, surrounded by a pond with fish and flowers. The service is also attentive, but the food, while tasting fine, is not as inventive or enjoyable as it should be for this price.

I liked the relatively authentic Italian cuisine choices and wine selection. The prices for the portions were exorbitant. The servers were friendly and helped each other, but the service was still poorly timed and the portions, especially kids, were ridiculously small. My 2 year old ate his meal in 3 minutes. I understand this is not a family feed bag,... More
