It was quite a drive out and our first impressions were, "oh no - this looks awful suburban out here with all these condos". But we were pleasantly surprised with both the atmosphere and food. No pretenses from the friendly staff and an excellent seared tuna sandwich. We recommend the place without hesitation and would go again quickly if ever... more

We stopped in for lunch and to check out the dinner menu for takeout. We ended up ordering a selection of fish tacos. They were ok, but not to die for. Fish Market Maui is one of our favorites. The ono burger is great! Mahi Mahi is wonderful. Don't miss a side salad of romaine lettuce with lavender citrus vinaigrette. Really good stuff here! High quality food for reasonable prices. more

This place has amazing fresh fish. I had the seared ahi sandwich and my husband had the cajun fish tacos. We also both enjoyed the cane sugar, island made soft drink choices. Like a previous review states, they do overdress what they send out but this is easily fixed by scraping some slaw or other topping off. After lunch we... more

The fish sandwiches here are great! Ugly little strip mall but the value and tasty fresh fish is worth it. Great place to buy fish too. They buy all their fish from local fisherman. We know, one pulled up while we were there and started unloading ahi. My husband followed him like a puppy dog. They have a great poki... more

This was our new find for this year, the fish market. Had excellent sandwiches, twice, and got fish to take a way, twice. The sandwiches were very good, maybe slightly overdressed, and the fresh fish (Ahi, Mahi Mahi) was first class. Got a prepared marinade for the Mahi and that wa sa bonus. more

We frequent Honokowai Okazuya in the same strip mall several times during our annual 3-month stay in Maui and, given the rave reviews of the Fish Market on this venue, decided to try it.
