We arrived at 7am and there were people lined up outside waiting for them to open! We ordered breakfast, coffee and dessert. The portions of food were enormous and came out in a timely fashion considering how busy they were! It was delicious too! Grandmas coffee cake was the best coffee cake I have ever had! Coffee was excellent too.... More

Visited Grandma's a couple of times as we were staying just up the road and really liked it. It is simply furnished inside..."rustic" is probably the best way to describe it, but the food was good and the staff were friendly. This is definitely off the main tourist route and it looked like a lot of people in there were... More

We stopped into Grandma's on the way back from watching the sunrise at Mt. Haleakala. We were not disappointed! Grandma's is a small, cozy little restaurant with good food and a nice atmosphere. You order your food at the counter and then your meal is brought to you once it's ready. My husband and I had a simple breakfast with... More

Stopped in for a coffee on the way back from the Ulapalakua ranch. OMG wild coffee roasted to perfection in a cafe o lait for $2.50. :) Bought all sorts of homemade baking treats and all were scrumptious. Went back for breakfast and it was awesome - as described by our clerk. Well worth the drive from Kihei. Good food... More

we were suggested this place by the paragliding folks so we went there in between the sunrise and the flight time. it was a simple order of grilled cheese, bagels with cream cheese, a slice of banana bread from the case and 2 coffees. it took us over an hour to get this. the banana bread was divine

I thought it was worthy of a second review since this was a return visit. We had breakfast one day, and returned a different day for dinner since I read they are now open for dinner a few nights a week. I almost hate having to write a review for dinner so it does not become impossible to get in... More

I almost hate to recommend this place because I don't want others to find it but this is the best place for breakfast on the island. It's upcountry in Keokeo (a tiny little hamlet) and on the road to Ulupalakua (if you're headed out to the winery). It's a real local spot and there's always a friendly crowd there…their waffles,...
