Get away from it all, drive up country and have one of the best breakfasts in Maui. Affordable, quaint, great desserts as well. Friendly and helpful staff. You have to try it. Kula is so pretty then push on to the Ulupalakua Ranch Winery. Great 1/2 day excursion away from the bigger cities down below.

We stopped here in late afternoon on the way back from our trip to Hana. The coffee was hot and very good! We didn't eat here, but we did chat with a family in the coffee shop who lived in Kihei and had driven upcountry just for the cake at this coffee shop! They were each eating very large pieces... good coffee spot and excellent goes cinnamon bun. Service was a bit to slow but the food made up for it. Nice drive to get there in the upcountry so a great mid point stop to Hana

Well this is the second highest rated restaurant in Kula on Trip Advisor....and it was a major disappointment on a Sunday morning. After waiting in line for fifteen minutes to order, we were told they were out of carrot juice and avocado (anyone who lives in Hawaii knows this is ludicrous). We ordered french toast and a veggie bagel, as... More

What would you expect from an upcountry place called grandma's? Yes, lots of great sandwiches, espresso and comfort food to go. The service was so-so and as it was busy, it was hard to tell how they are normally. I ordered a Reuben sandwich which did not disappoint.

This is the perfect stop to grab coffees or food especially if you're doing an Upcountry Drive. It's like you step back in time when you get to Grandmas. It's a small quaint little place. We had the Iced Cafe Mochas and Iced Chai Lattes. They both are excellent but we highly recommend the Iced Chai Lattes. Extremely good!! The... More

We stopped here after the Haleakala sunrise. The eggs benedict was excellent! I wasn't sure about the cornbread waffle on the bottom, but it worked. It was the most expensive item on the menu at $14, but it was large and worth it. My kids had the fruit pancakes with fruit cooked inside the pancake. They both thought it was... More

This place is horrible! Crappy menu, expensive, slow service and NO TOILET which is illegal! They tell you to go do your business at some nearby park! My order came wrong and they didnt bother to apologize, i asked for a change of order, it took forever. My friends had finished their lunch and i was still waiting so i... More

Got coffee and muffins here. Nothing special. Looked at the menu and what people were eating and seemed expensive for the offerings.
