This roadside gem has provided breakfast and lunch on our two trips to Hana and we highly recommend it. They serve generous portions and my husband still raves about the French toast. I enjoyed my cheeseburger and we all liked the macaroni salad. There were so many baked good/sweets to choose from....we tried the rum cake and pineapple coconut bar... More

We stopped here for breakfast after making our trip to see the sunrise. The service and food were phenomenal! When we entered there was no line at the counter to order so we walked right up chatted with the women behind the register for a bit about the menu and ordered. My husband and I both ordered custom omelets and... More

Great mix of locals and tourists...join the line for a reason! Friendly servers in this now 3rd generation landmark! Yes, the coffee is very good...the pastries divine...the pastas excellent. We did take out for dinner and also had breakfast on the patio. To be honest....that coconut pineapple bar is worth the ride from California!!!!

This place had wonderful breakfast and coffee with a good view. If they have the Maui Benedict make sure to try it. It is the best. We had breakfast here twice, once going to the fruit market and the other driving to the road to Hana backwards. Great place in a small town.

if you're on the road to Hana or hungry after touring the kuna botanical gardens (a wonderful and peaceful way to spend a couple of hours), stop into this unpretentious but wonderful coffeehouse and bakery. The pumpkin and banana loaves are to die for, closely followed by the cakes. Portions are huge and ambiance is casual. Worth the trip!

We stopped by Grandma's and they were packed, so we got a hot chocolate and pumpkin bread to go, but vowed to come back another day. Rainy/stormy day on Maui, so we headed up through Kula to try again. Not so crowded, nice little menu plus a great case of baked goods. My wife had the up country omlet with... More

This place is were the locals go for good food. It is not fancy. The desserts here are excellent. This is a must do for us when we visit Maui. My husband loves their coffee. The pineapple dream cake is my favorite cake.

This place is a wonderful place to have lunch or just to enjoy a coffee break. They have so many tempting desserts. The coffee is great and we really enjoyed our sandwiches made to order just they way you want them. There's a nice little covered patio if you enjoy open air dining or you can eat inside.
