Nice traditional place

We stopped by as we were curious, unfortunately not hungry. We had just a cup of coffee but the place is one of these where you can feel and see the tradition and genius loci. However, mind the tables, some of them are a bit swaying and we spilt our cups. I bought there beautiful postcards with old... read more

Service was s-l-o-w. We ordered a sandwich to go and waited 40 minutes from getting in line to getting a sandwich. Sorry, but IMHO it wasn't worth the wait. I'm generally a pretty even-keeled person, but this set me off. (I was polite.) If you have plenty of time, go at it. The food looked good. Sandwich was okay.

We stopped by for Breakfast on our way to the crater. Usually something to look forward to, but this time very disappointing. The coffee is always good but the breakfast left a lot to be desired. My friend had asked for sourdough bread and got Pumpernikle and neither of our eggs were done the way we ordered them. Maybe they... More

Homemade breakfast that's worth waiting for, that's right, you might have to stand in line. Try the french Toast or any of the fresh baked goods...DELICIOUS!!!!

This place is a treasure and deserves all the great reviews it has. I don't need to speak of the baked goods and food. The other reviews say it all. It is the best place for breakfast or lunch in the whole upcountry area of Maui. More than that the owner family were also enjoying Sunday brunch at the corner... More

This roadside gem has provided breakfast and lunch on our two trips to Hana and we highly recommend it. They serve generous portions and my husband still raves about the French toast. I enjoyed my cheeseburger and we all liked the macaroni salad. There were so many baked good/sweets to choose from....we tried the rum cake and pineapple coconut bar... More

We stopped here for breakfast after making our trip to see the sunrise. The service and food were phenomenal! When we entered there was no line at the counter to order so we walked right up chatted with the women behind the register for a bit about the menu and ordered. My husband and I both ordered custom omelets and... More

Great mix of locals and tourists...join the line for a reason! Friendly servers in this now 3rd generation landmark! Yes, the coffee is very good...the pastries divine...the pastas excellent. We did take out for dinner and also had breakfast on the patio. To be honest....that coconut pineapple bar is worth the ride from California!!!!

This place had wonderful breakfast and coffee with a good view. If they have the Maui Benedict make sure to try it. It is the best. We had breakfast here twice, once going to the fruit market and the other driving to the road to Hana backwards. Great place in a small town.

if you're on the road to Hana or hungry after touring the kuna botanical gardens (a wonderful and peaceful way to spend a couple of hours), stop into this unpretentious but wonderful coffeehouse and bakery. The pumpkin and banana loaves are to die for, closely followed by the cakes. Portions are huge and ambiance is casual. Worth the trip!
