It's just as good as when I first started going there in 1967!

Kula Lodge is known for it's local food, and wonderful flavors the chef chooses. The views are to die for......so to speak! It's a great stop on your way down from Haleakula, or as we used to do, dinner under the stars!

Beautiful view!! That's what drew us to go there for our anniversary. We were between lunch and dinner....absolutely the wrong time to be there. Got my fish 25 minutes before my wife's pizza. We then saw them put it in the outdoor pizza over after I was served. When it finally came, no explanation, no apology. When we mentioned that... More

Had a nice lunch at Kula Lodge/Restaurant. The view from the restaurant is amazing! The reuben I had was excellent. My husband tried the turkey club which was served on way too much focaccia bread. Both dishes were served with namasu which was excellent. We ended up bringing a take out order of the namasu home with us! They also... More

Sit outside at the tables built out over the gardens - 180 degree views and you feel as if you're in a private dining garden. We started with Bloody Mary's while deciding on lunch. Four of us split two salads and two pizzas (we watched it bake in the brick oven near us) - perfect sized portions before our afternoon... More

We had a late lunch here on our way down from the crater. Had one of their fire pit pizzas and a great turkey sandwich. Both were excellent. Beautiful views from inside, also great outdoor tables (when it's not raining). Also the best ice tea, what a glass oF tea should be like.😊

Stopped here for a bite to eat on our way down from Haleakalā. We had a wood fired oven baked pizza that was pretty good although not very big. Only 6 small slices to share by 3 people. We also had a Quesadilla appetizer which helped. Definitely walk the grounds and enjoy the artist work being displayed after your meal.... More

We visited the lodge with a friend who lives on Maui, after watching the sunrise on Haleakala. Many of the customers there that morning had the same idea! The wonderfully landscaped gardens in the back of the lodge offered a unique experience while we waited for our table. The food was delicious, and worth the wait. They had large portions... More

We stopped here on the way up to Haleakala for a nice leisurely breakfast. Enjoyed the service and the meal. Good coffee and omelettes. Make sure to get a table next to the windows with gorgeous views. Don't know how the rooms are, as the last time we stayed here was five years ago.

I don't usually post rude comments about an establishment. However I feel the owners of the restraurant need to understand their negitive approach effects their business. A friend and I went into the restraurant and were treated very dismissive by both the female and male owners. They had both stated they owned the place and were unable to help us... More

The view from the restaurant at Kula Lodge is simply spectacular! We could see the ocean near Wailea and it wasn't an overly clear day. The terraced gardens looked lovely for a private event as well. But the Kula Lodge is pretty dated. The carpet critically needs to be replaced, and the decor overall is stuck in the late 70's.... More
