Delicious pancakes!

We went here after seeing sunrise on the Haleakala crater. So glad we stopped here on the way down! Delicious macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup and a beautiful view! Definitely recommend this place after you've been up for hours and seen the sunrise!

Perfect after the big trek up to the crater. Perfect view from our table. Delicious breakfast and very friendly quick service. A must stop on the way back down the mountain!

The best view, excellent manager and helpful staff. this is the best place to stay to visit Haleakala park North and get an early - or late - start. The cottages are very clean and comfortable

Our meal was good but not great. The margarita pizza was fairly bland and not evenly cooked so some was black and some was undone. The quinoa/beet salad, on the other hand was fantastic! The wait staff was fabulous and the hostess was a bit curt. We will return.

After a scenic drive to Upcountry Maui we stopped the the highly recommended Kula lodge and restaurant. Heard the wood fired pizzas were not to be missed. We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened and had to wait to be seated. We toured the gardens and the amazing view of the countryside and the ocean. Would have given a... More

Cute little eatery with an outdoor pizza oven manned by great pizza chefs! The prices seemed a bit high for the food, but where else are you gonna see the entire island of Maui spread out under your feet on a clear day with an Irish coffee in your hand, smelling the kiawe-wood fired pizza oven making your custom order... Service was great (Krisette), food even better. We came twice and had the pizza, lodge burger, crab cakes, and Mai Tai by Carlos!

Halfway down the volcano, by bike or by car, we always seem to find ourselves at the Kula Lodge. Austin, from Baton Rouge, serves tasty thin crust, wood fired pizza. Good rest stop for trips up and down the volcano. Eat outside and enjoy the outdoor mesquite oven and see a bicoastal view over lunch.

We stopped at Kula Lodge while riding bikes down the volcano. You get up before dawn to ride a van up the volcano, watch a sunrise then they take you down to get on bicycles below the national park. It is an all downhill ride that we got the outfitters that let you ride at your own pace. We got... More
