Spectular sunset view

You must come here to enjoy a bite and take pictures of the sun going down. There is a deck you can pop out to. I had the quinoa and beet salad which was really good and it did have a hint of garlic in it. My travel companions tried their Caesar salad but felt it was a little salty... read more

Wailea prices costco quality. Restaurant is severely understaffed undermanned line sending out warmish food cafeteria style. Everything is ready hours before you order, then reheated and slapped on a plate. no hostess and unwelcoming/absent management. Also the restaurant is always way too hot inside its like eating in a green house; flys included.

Kula Lodge is a lodge, to be sure. It has a wood fire burning, providing just the right scent for this throwback lodge from a time long gone by. I LOVED the ambiance. The view of the valley below was amazing. The food was good but nothing mind blowing. The pancakes were the highlight, the coconut syrup was really good.... More

Visited yesterday after the sunrise on the mountain -- like everyone else. :-). Had to wait a little while but was worth it. Quiche, omelets, pancakes... All good. Nice view. Like everything on the islands, not cheap, but generous servings and attentive service.

After coming down from the crater I wasn't feeling the greatest. A little tired, a little bit of altitude sickness, a little hungry. Nothing the Kula lodge couldn't solve. Wonderful views, great service, nice atmosphere and great breakfast. My friend got the Kekoa coffee. Amazing. We shared an order of some yummy french toast. I got sunrise which was perfect,... More

We love the view, the food is good. We waited a very long time for a piece of pie, as they put the dessert orders behind the food orders. Order dessert with your meal!!

The first time we stopped here was our first day in town in the middle of our bike down the mountain. We were starving and were seated right away by a window with a gorgeous view. The service was great and friendly and the food was great and fairly priced. They were nice enough to re-fill our water bottles for... More

We stopped by this place and visited. It appeared to be very neat. I am not sure about the inside of the rooms due to we did not stay. We ended up only going to the café. The grounds were beautiful and I would recommend this to others.

Perhaps we were at the restaurant on a bad day; overall it was not a good experience. The staff was not friendly and inefficient - they seemed to be disorganized and unhappy in general. There is outdoor seating but, for some reason, they were not seating anyone outside this afternoon. We waited for a table, waited for someone to take... More
