Very good food!

We went with family who live in Kahului, I never would have found it by myself. The food was so good and the price was even better. Nothing fancy. We will definitely go back next time we visit Maui.

Don't expect this to be a fancy sit down restaurant. It's a local hole in the wall counter service place. There are a few tables inside and some outside. My husband and I shared ono fish and chips that was great. We were watching them make the batter with Keystone Light in the kitchen. I kind of giggled at that... More

Ever the economy travelers, we look for locally owned, out of the way places serving local produce. And I LOVE seafood. It's pretty expensive anywhere but expecially Hawaii. This place in Kihei, Maui has a nice selection of fresh caught local seafood cooked (they have a fresh seafood market onsite) and served in carry out containers and just a few... More

A friend recommended this place so we stopped in today for lunch. It's tiny and busy, and took us awhile to find street parking but it was totally worth it. Fresh ono and chips were completely delicious - not heavy or greasy like I'm used to back east. Girlfriend had the fish tacos and also enjoyed them. We ate outside... More

Not only is this place hard to find, it also isn't a restaurant... We saw the good reviews and decided to sniff it out, but when we finally found it we were entirely unimpressed with anything and everything that is Eskimo Candy. Not inviting, no tables, and you feel like you've stopped at a gas station and aren't sure what... More

Hole in the wall location is worth searching out. The poke bowl was a great midday snack for two of us, but I would happily have eaten the whole thing. Four different poke preparations on ocean salad. Ono!

Very good food for a reasonable price. Every visit to Maui we stop here, definitely a favorite of the locals!

excellent food, reasonably priced for Maui, off the main drag but still busy, quick service, fish market too. We got our food and ate outside. Red Snapper fish and chips was really good. One of the best places in Maui and under $50 for two. Closes by 7 so get there before sunset.

Eskimo candy was recommended by a well-wishing friend. The place is well hidden and away from the main tourist drag. The food is absolutely phenomenal. However, that depends on the catch of the day. If they have some great fish, the food will be great too. Their regular fish offerings are not bad either. The restaurant itself could do a... More
