We both ordered fish and chips. I had fresh ono and my husband had opakapaka. The orders had wrong sides- coleslaw, rice and cold French fries. The fish was ok but the batter is so seasoned with herbs it was hard to taste any fish. We live here so thought we would try to see what this place is... read more

This is the first time I've tried this eatery-didn't even know about it til my sister told me about it and it's definitely worth finding. Very nice décor, island flair, fast friendly service, good prices and great food; everything fresh, even has a small poke counter. I was watching my carbs so it was nice to find a low carb... More

Our second trip to Maui from Canada, we had been recommended this restaurant by a fellow traveler. We went for lunch today and it was delicious! A tiny little place, but very busy. I had the coconut shrimp and my husband had the catch of the day. Everything was very tasty! The server was very helpful in describing all the... More

we tried out this restaurant based on a friends recommendation and ended up going back right the next day as well... :) if you stay in Kihei the place is a must, they have amazing poke bowls, everything is fresh and tasty and the staff is very friendly. you can just eat there or as many locals do - pick... Tried this place on a recommendation from a friend. It's out of the way and not much to look at , but the food was excellent. We had a large variety of dishes to share, then went back the next night because we liked it so much. The quality of the food is on par with restaurants that charge twice... More

We ordered a whole array of items for take out with the family. Ono fish and chips were a little dry, mahi fish and chips were juicier, Kobe burger had some nice char flavor but otherwise, nothing special, fish tacos were decent except the tortilla was a bit thick, crab cakes had a sweet sauce on it. Best items of... More

This place has only about 8 tables four inside and four outside. Many people were getting food to go. This is a fish market. I liked the fish taco and the fish and chips. I plan to go back. There is no view and it is difficult to find.

WOW! We found this great hole-in-the-wall place and went back several times for their wonderful poke, and fresh catch of the day! I had the fish & chips and they were done to perfection. Very nice counter help too :-) Just an all around great low-key place. Nothing fancy, but clean, well kept & wonderful staff!

We went twice to this "restaurant" and loved it. It is more geared for takeout as seating is limited, and it is not meant to be a fine dining experience. But the food was excellent. Recommend highly you try it out. Chowder was great!

If you are staying in or near Kihei, HI (Maui), you should absolutely try Eskimo Candy. It is a cute little "diner" and fish market tucked off the main drag. You'll have to seek it out. It's worth it. It is a fresh fish market. So you can go in the morning and come home with the catch of the... More
