If you are staying in or near Kihei, HI (Maui), you should absolutely try Eskimo Candy. It is a cute little "diner" and fish market tucked off the main drag. You'll have to seek it out. It's worth it. It is a fresh fish market. So you can go in the morning and come home with the catch of the... read more

Best Ono, Mahi Mahi Fish!! The fish tacos and coconut shrimp were also good. We found ourselves eating here after coming back from the beach just about everyday. You can get short ribs to go and have your own BBQ back at the condominium or beach. Excellent Place!!

We got several fish meals from them. The fish was really good a reasonably priced. Their place is small with minimal seating. We had it to go. Will defiantly go back.

While driving through Kihei, Maui, HI, I found Eskimo Candy. The name was enough to draw me in to this great Seafood Market and Deli. A little off the beaten track, it was filled with great Hawaiian fish. That day's catch included Ono or Mahi Mahi fish and chips. The Mahi Mahi pieces were small, but delicious. The chips and... Good value for the money and portion sizes are decent. Very limited seating but they do a good job of packing everything up for takeout. Would recommend the coconut shrimp and fish tacos.

We returned to Eskimo Candy after spending too much money at high end places. This is eating the good restaurant food at a smaller price. You have to go early in case they run out of some of your favorite fish. Like the poke bowls and the fish with rice. Do not care for the battered fish. They have at... More

We tried 5 different places on Maui to compare fish and chips. Eskimo Candy was the clear winner. Excellent fish in good old fashioned batter and excellent coleslaw and tartar sauce. Delicious!

Several of the folks at our complex have highly recommended this place and we finally got to experience it. Tried on another occasion and the line up was outside the door so that gives you an idea how popular it is. We had the shrimp fish combo and our friends mani and we all agreed everything was delicious. They are... More

Eskimo Candy is off the beaten trail in Kihei and seems to be more of a local spot, which is the kind of place my wife and I always gravitate towards. We loved our dinner at Eskimo Candy - the fish & chips were delicious, with the fish being flavourful and not greasy, and we liked having the option of... More

Inexpensive fish dishes( I had Cajun Ono, my wife had coconut shrimp, both awesome!! ) Their cole slaw is delicious! The poke looked good but didn't try it. The seafood chowder was definitely worth trying. Very small place with 3 small tables inside and 3 concrete picnic tables outside. Locals favorite which I enjoy!!
