A wonderful Maui local restaurant. Locals told us this was the best place on the island for fish and chips and they were correct. Had the Ono catch of the day and Mahi-Mahi choices. Excellent service and good price. Compared to what we've had on the Virginia coast Eskimo Candy sets the standard. Highly recommend a visit. There are plenty... More

We did not eat the cooked food here but it DID smell delicious! We were there to purchase fresh fish to cook on the beach. We picked up four ahi steaks which they cut to the desired thickness we requested and were all individually wrapped for us as well. Three of us seasoned our fish and simply seared the fish... More

This little hole in the wall place serves reasonably priced fish & chips, chowder with Ono or Ahi, and many other delicious fish based dishes. There is only enough cramped seating for 18 people and this place does get.a bit busy at dinner time, so take out is another option. The portions and pieces of fish are quite generous. We... More

Someone had recommended this place for the great fish sandwiches and that recommendation was spot on. Had the opa sandwich which was grilled perfectly for me (moist and flaky). Decor and ambiance was lacking but food was tasty, sizeable, and relatively inexpensive.

I've tried I think every poke place on the island and I keep coming back to foodland - it's just always good and there are so many options. It was just okay variety here and not that cheap.

Stopped here on our fist day on the island for some fish and poke to have at our condo. Poke was excellent, and the fish was so fresh. Better than the grocery stores by far. Got Ahi and Ono steaks cut to order. They also have a little cafe inside with very good looking food as well.

I read so many good reviews and heard so many suggestions to go here. Then when we did, the fish tacos were gross - like what you would see at a school cafeteria: one strip of thin grilled? fish, a couple strips of what looked like packaged lettuce, and that packaged finely grated cheese sprinkled on top of a flour... Oh yes!! Usually one of our first stops on Maui! We talk about this little fish market from the day we leave until the day we return to Maui. Ahi, Ono, Mahi are a wonderful fish and chips plate. Poke, c Chowder, Seafood platters are just some of the food in this
