I think this place gets some of its attraction from the busy vibe. If ya hit breakfast around 9ish...like us..it's about a half hour wait to order. While standing in line the staff is running orders out to people waiting at the tables. Most of the dishes look pretty good. I think the overall large size of most the dishes... More

A must visit!!! The new chef is great and having fun creating amazing dishes. Breakfast is the main reason to go here. Cash only so leave your CC at home. I have had several of their items and have never been dissappointed. Eggs Benedict is very good and always try the fun pancakes. Only negative is the OJ is very... More

We went for breakfast twice and both times it was busy but the line moves quickly. They do open real early and albeit a small shop, everything is well organized there though they only take cash. We ordered the $7.95 classic breakfast each time (two eggs, two slices of bacon, home fries and a biscuit) with beverages. First time we... More

Our first breakfast here in Kihei and was hit with sticker shock! We soon learned that it is not out of the ordinary to pay $30 for 2 breakfasts. Food was great. Self service. No refills on coffee. Ate our eggs benedict and biscuits & gravy on the patio with the chickens. Admittedly, the food was very good. However, the... More

If you miss the Kihei Cafe for breakfast you have missed out on a great experience. Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the massive menu. Choosing between the authentic Maui breakfast dishes and the cafe's spin on traditional breakfast choices will make you grateful for the line that is sometimes out of the door and 25 minutes deep. During the... More

I really thought this place sucks. Cash only which isn't big deal as there is ATM inside (although you may get charged fee, I didn't use it). I got pancake (which were 3 huge ones but tasted like ones I could pour out of a box and make, they weren't even hot). Tasted ok at best. $4 OJ was about... More

This cafe came recommended to us by one of the locals. We were told this is a "Mom and Pop" owned restaurant so wanted to give it a try. We stood in a long line waiting to order our breakfast and then discovered they do not take credit cards. Luckily we had the cash. The portions were large and the... More

Visited here 1 year ago: service friendly, food delicious, price good. Visited today: service friendly, good price, bland boring breakfast. Also, I brought a 20% coupon clipped from a local magazine, it was not honored because "the owner didn't allow it" I give this place 2 stars but because the cinnamon buns were still amazing, you get one more star.

I went back to this restaurant after a year and I was slightly disappointed. The food was not as good as I remembered from last year. The portions are huge but the did lack of seasoning. My biscuits were quite dense and doughy. The gravy was fine but again lack of salt. The only item that was as delicious as... More

We have been coming to Kihei Caffe for a few times now and we have not been disappointed. What we are going to share is that you can share a meal together as it feeds the two of you. We had the Banana Mac Nut pancake and we still had left over. The serving was huge and plenty to snack... More
