Great Breakfast, Good Prices

Don't be scared off by the long lines! Placing the order takes a few minutes, but the food comes out extremely fast! It's cash only, so be sure to have some on-hand. There are birds flying and chickens roaming around, which makes for an interesting experience. It's a true locals' place, which I... read more

My husband and I wanted something a little different than what Wailea offered so we ventured to the Kihei Caffe. First off, they only take cash but have an ATM on the premises. I ordered the pork fried rice with over easy eggs and my husband got the French toast with bananas and macadamia nuts. We both enjoyed our food... More

If you're after a quick (and well priced) bite (but with big servings) head here! We got the loco moco and an omelette before heading to the Big Beach, and were not disappointed. Beware if the roaming rooster, though!

Amazing food. It opens at 5 am every morning, so it is a good choice to combine with road to hana, it was hard for us to find a good restaurant that early in Maui. Good chance there will be a long line, but don't be terrified by that, it moves very fast, they don't save tables. Tried Loco Moco... More

This is one of my favorite breakfast places. Great food, great prices and friendly staff. The fried rice and loco moco are fantastic. I have yet to try anything that is not fabulous.

We have had two fantastic meals at the Kihei Caffe while on this Maui visit. Great home cooked food during both our breakfast and lunch visits. The ONLY thing I can say as a warning is, if you have any fear of birds or roosters then get your food to go. They walk freely around all the outdoor tables (no... More

I love the charm of this restaurant. It's packed with people, yet you don't feel cramped. The food was great and the birds were (well - a little creepy at first - so many chickens, sparrows and myna birds) entertaining.

So happy we took up the recommendations and ate here. I definitely recommend getting there early. We arrived around 8am on a Thursday morning and the line was already out the door, I'd guess about 20 people in line. It took about 15-20 minutes to get up front to order. You order first and then pick a seat. If you... More

This is the breakfast restaurant that most people seem to rave about. Their breakfast dishes are definitely different with a varied menu. My favorite breakfasts consists of 2 over-easy eggs with bacon toast and maybe hash-browns. This is what I ordered and was not pleased with it. However the biggest draw back here is to stand sometimes in a line... More

Went here one morning with an out-of-town guest. Luckily it was raining so it wasn't as busy as normal when I drive by. Food was ok... but being in line with so many hard-core tourists in a shabby outdoor area on a busy road makes this more of a breakfast mill than a quaint little place to start the day.... More
