Had one breakfast here and won't be going back. I ordered a simple eggs, potatoes, bacon and a biscuit meal. Price was nothing to write home about. Really nothing special. The seating is horrible. Outside on a busy street. The tables and chairs appear to be surplus items from a 1970's cafeteria that may have had a fire sale. Wobbly... more

I will admit it... I was shocked to learn the Kihei Cafe was the #1 restaurant in Kiehi. It was so "average" me. Perhaps it's because I have been to other islands and had similar food that I thought was much, much better. I fell in love with banana pancakes with mac nuts and coconut syrup on The Big Island... more

My family of four ate here for breakfast our first day in Kihei. We all enjoyed our meals, and the local feel. Order inside, eat outside. No problems finding an available table. Very casual. Very relaxing. more

My wife and I went here for our first meal in Maui. We were very pleased with the friendly and fast service and most of all the food. I had the French Toast with macadamien nuts and coconut syrup. It was unbelievable!...my mouth is watering just thinking about it. My wife had the chorizo and eggs. We loved it so... more

Best place for an early breakfast. If you are still jetlagged and wake up early this is the place to have a great start in the day. Breakfast is awesome, staff is cool and the atmosphere in the morning is just perfect. Can't wait to go there again for another french toast with mac nuts and banana. Don't expect something... more

Kihei is pronounced KEE-HAY We did not consult TA this morning as we were on the road, but we had our 2008 Fodor’s book and it said this was a good place for breakfast. We were tickled to find out that TA rated this #1. NOTE: They serve breakfast all day. CASH ONLY (Fodor’s indicates they take V/MC) As usual,... more

We ate there our first day in Maui. It was a very convenient location. Food for family of four was 25 $ and the portions were huge! The food was excellent! You have to go inside to order at the counter then they bring your food out by calling the name from the order. It came quick. There was nice... more

We ate here twice. I like the pancake. The French toast was okay. My b/f had the fried rice. which was average. It is good place to eat but not WOW. Maybe we ate all the wrong thing. more

After searching far and wide for a place that I could get a nice spam fried rice dish for breakfast we decided on the Kihei Cafe. They have a number of different breakfast dishes to choose from but we came for the fried rice with egg on top. It was a simple fried rice with onions, peppers, spam and covered... more
