This was our favorite restaurant in Kihei, Maui. We spent 7 days on the island and ordered a take out there 6 times. The menu is very varied and we decided to sample the typical Vietnamese dishes. The soups were very tasty (my favorite was Hot and Sour Soup- nothing like the Chinese version we all know)- the strong lemon... More

Consistency counts, and we've never had a bad meal or poor service in several visits on our vacations over the years. I particularly like the Pho and spring rolls. Mrs K likes the house fried rice. Sis likes the curry. The menu is not extensive, but they do it well

Although it only opened 11 years ago, this restaurant seems like one of those Việt eateries that appeared on the mainland in the late 70's, after Vietnamese refugees have overcome the trauma of separation from the motherland, to venture into commerce: very original name (just imagine, would you go into a restaurant called "Cuisine Française"?); long menu (with no specialisation... We went to this restaurant the other night for the first time, and were so impressed that we had to return again! The service is wonderful and the food even better! Everything is so fresh and full of flavours .And the prices are very reasonable for Maui. We tried the clay pot, which was so good - full of chicken,... More

If you're looking for something a little more exotic in Kihei, this is a great alternative. It's Asian, but it's not sushi and not fish tacos. This family run restaurant gives you very fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. We had their signature Mahi Mahi dish prepared with vegetables and their seafood soft noodle dish. Both dishes were excellent. The total... More

We ate here our first night in Maui, because it was close to where were staying. I had pho, which was delicious, and my boyfriend had crispy chicken and beef over rice. The chicken was amazing. I'm still thinking about it, and all I had was a few stolen bites off my boyfriend's plate. The prices were good, about $10-12... More

Steamed Opakapaka was fantastic along with fresh Summer Rolls. As an experience this place was terrific. Looks like the entire family is working here and they are doing an excellent job. Ate here on my birthday and the owner acknowledged that he was laso the same age (75). If you've never tried Vietnamese food, GO! You'll not be disappointed!

We've eaten here twice now because the food was just great! The crispy chicken is to die for. The pho was fresh and tasty. The salad rolls were fresh and perfectly prepared! Even their wine list has a touch of class! Nothing like a sure thing for lunch or dinner, especially just after snorkeling. Y

We loved the clay pot rice - it was like heaven in a bowl. Delicious combination of rice, shrimp, chicken and shitake mushrooms. We would definitely return. And the best service too!

I am professional flight crew, and found this restaurant 6 years ago on a trip to Maui. It is family run, and has some of the best Vietnamese food I have found. Portions are generous, and the prices are ridiculously reasonable for Hawaii. Never miss a visit when we are in Maui. You will feel really welcome here!
