Small place with nice dining deck on Kihei Rd. Easy parking in the back of this meandering complex of shops and restaurants. Was looking for something simple and reasonable. Catch of the day is their specialty and they had a good catch the day I was there. Out of three kinds of fish I had Mahi Mahi and it was... More

Really enjoyed my lunch, fish was fresh great flavor and the beer was nice and cold served in a very cold icy glass. Definitely will be back. Susan was extremely friendy and made us feel very welcome. Will surely go back.

The location is pleasant enough with the veranda overlooking the Kihei highway and the beach front beyond. But the fresh fish of the day could have been OK but it was difficult to tell since everything on the plate was swimming in the water draining from the over-steamed bok choy. Very much average to poor cooking and not a place... More

My wife & I spent a week in Kihei this past August, necessarily needing places to go for eats and drinks. Our very first stop after driving from the Maui airport (OGG) to Kihei, after stop at the Maui Schooner Resort to check on our room (not ready) was PuPu Lounge, which was due to its strategically-advantaged perspective upon the... my daughter and I drive over to Kihei to look at a few properties while in Maui. We were getting a little hungry so we decided to stop for lunch. We noticed a few signs for restaurants, so we parked and took a little walk. Pupu Palace, the name grabbed our was, so in we went and we were not... More

Very average. Shrimp scampi was boiled noodles with shrimp on top. Never tasted the "sauce". Seafood platter ok. Service ok. Food hot. Music ok.

Quaint little roadside restaurant. The outside furniture had a 1800s outdoor parlour look to it. We ordered a pupu platter for our late lunch since this was the name of the place. The food was OK, served cold witha grill in the middle to 'heat it up if you want' though service was a bit slow and considering it wasn't... More

Patio is nice and attracting but the inner part and the cooking did not left us a good impression. The two dishes we ordered arrived 15 minutes one after the other so basically each of us has eaten on its own. My dish was cold... Maybe it was forgot somewhere (that was also mentioned by the waitress so I wonder... More

PuPu lounge is kind of a local hole in the wall. We all ordered different items, and all were awesome. The seafood platter and sea bass amazing. The ice cream dessert a local flavor is a must. Much better than the resort food we've been dining on.

We had dinner at Pupu Lounge twice. The deck is a bit challenged, with old indoor/outdoor carpet. The fresh fish of the day was local sea bass, which was awesome. I guess their fisherman has a good bass hole! Everyone else has maui maui which we love , but the sea bass was special. The location is great: between Foodland... More
