Excellent Again

Love this place! Best fish you will ever have as everything is so fresh and skillfully prepared. Very small but quaint atmosphere. Has 15 total seats (11 at the sushi bar and 1 table for 4) so you must make a reservation. The place is always booked so no walk ins ever are able to get seated. Also... read more

Incredibly fresh sushi, and great and friendly service. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but wonderful sushi rolls and very friendly staff

Found this place just down the street from our hotel. For a small place the sushi quality is top notch! Had some hot green tea that was so good. The texture of the fish was exquisite. Overall I strongly recommend this place.

This restaurant is small. Reservation is a must. According to my friend local there, it was sometimes difficult to get a table unless we call the restaurant one week prior to the visit. Of course, Sushi here is outstanding! It's a hidden gem in South Kihei.

The place is tiny and very intimate, and by the time you've enjoyed an incredible meal, you'll probably know everyone in the restaurant. We were one of 4 couples and we really did enjoy every other couple there. Hiro, the owner and man behind the counter, is charming and obviously loves what he does. The fish is very fresh, you'll... This is a small little restaurant tucked away in one of the strip plazas on South Kihei Road. I actually had to drive up and down the strip a few times before finally locating it. But I am so glad that I did. Just a small restaurant, perhaps accommodating 20 people at the most, you definitely need to make reservations... More

The portions were small, especially the assorted sashimi, was quite surprised at the amount of fish on the plate...35$??? Wow that was a bit of a shocker, although it was good I must say it was a steep price to pay for so little. The California roll was average and I found bones in my eel and avocado roll, never... First, you are better off walking in to get a reservation. The tiny restaurant seats just 16 people, there is one sushi chef and one lady working front of house, we guess it's his wife. Most of the time the phone rings off the hook, goes unanswered and walk-ins are turned away. We've seen a walk in get seated only... More
