Very good sushi...make sure you get a reservation. A bit pricey but so worth it. Fantastic sushi - we were all happy with the meal.

If you are a fan, this was some of the best sushi and sashimi I have ever had. Omakse came with a 10 piece nigiri sushi plate that included 3 or 4 kinds of tuna, the best uni I have ever had (I am really picky when it comes to uni), anago, flounder, ebi, and more. It was $45/person for... More

I have never done crack, but from the experts to the addicts, it is said to be something you don't want to do even once, because you will become an instant addict. Sushi Koiso will make you an addict of quality sushi. If you have never had sushi before you come here, you will forever be disappointed. Sushi will never... More

Excellent sushi. This sushi restaurant is located in a shopping strip of sorts but it was to die for. A mom and pop service experience with what appeared to be the chefs wife serving the guests. Great service, made you feel welcome and invited. Make reservations- his calendar was clearly booked put till next month and as each local guest... More

I booked here after finding it on google searching for "Best Sushi in Maui". I made a booking and turned up on time. The owner asked if it was me by name and pointed to a reserved spot for me. I ordered the omakase and shortly afterward I was presented by a beautiful wooden plate full of vibrant and fresh... More

This hole in the wall sushi restaurant is well worth the visit to this strip mall. You MUST calla an make a reservation as its packed and their is only one table and seating at the sushi bar. The quality of the fish is out of this world. The rolls are not fancy but what they lack in presentation they... More

The meal we had at this restaurant was fantastic. Reservations are needed, as they seem to be packed every night. The sushi was fantastic and owners were super friendly. I did not find this meal expensive, especially given the quality of the fish. This hole in the wall, tucked into a strip mall, is well worth the trip.

Loved this for the fresh fish and traditional style. Small hole in the wall place, but the freshest fish we had on Maui. Omakse came with 10-11 nigiri sushi pieces that included several kinds of tuna, super fresh and tasty uni, anago, flounder, ebi, and some others. It was $45 for the order which I thought was a good value... More

This little tiny sushi bar in a strip mall in Kihei was such a find! There are only a few seats and 1 table, and the owner/sushi chef does everything. Don't expect fancy rolls or even fancy presentation but do expect amazingly fresh fish, perfect rice and a very reasonable bill! As others have said, reservations are a must. Called... More

I have to say this small resto is comparable to the resto back in japan!! The owner/chef prepares every single sushi while everyone sit at the bar waiting for their turn. Sushi melts in your mouth!!! So fresh and sushi rolls are light and refreshing! Anago sushi made my eyes roll backwards. Prices are verrrrry reasonable too! Going back again... More
