Had chicken katsu, generous portions that can be shared with 2. Very good, and would return next time in maui.

We ordered an omelette, french toast and the spam musubi. The helpings are generous and the food is delicious. The restaurant has few frills but is air conditioned and spacious with high chairs for infants. Would definitely go back.

Stopped by for lunch base on a recommendation from a local business owner and we weren't disappointed. Portions are HUGE and flavors explode on the tongue with every bite. Bring your appetite and be prepared for left overs.

We were referred to Da Kitchen by our hotel's desk clerk and loved the authentic Hawaiian food which was only a short bike ride from our hotel. My husband had a combo plate and said the bbq pork was the best he ever had. He also enjoyed his first ever chicken katsu. I had the tempura fish and it was... More

Went to Da Kitchen because it was across the street from our condo. Best decision ever! The staff is extremely friendly, they are all about fighting hunger on the islands and very community oriented. We ended up eating there quite a bit over our week in Kihei. The Da Kitchen omlette is so good. I have never had portugese sausage... More

I think the Kahului location is much better than the Kihei one. Quality & ambiance better. The Hamburger was disappointing. Didn't even taste like a juicy, grilled burger. Instead it was chock full of bread crumbs and tasted like meat loaf .. Maybe? I also tried the Mixed Bento with Teriyaki grilled Chicken. Over cooked and tough. The Teriyaki beef was... More

Love this Hawaiian Fast Food. Easy to access, plenty of food. I ordered the local pork. Came with 2 scoops of rice, local potato macaroni salad , and large scoop of pork. Enough food for three people.

I had to try the deep fried musubi, it was delicious. I also ordered the shrimp scampi, it was a big portion and really good. The food was good, but seems very pricey for local food.

My husband and I have been pescetarians for over three years now, BUT when we go to Maui, we eat meat at our favorite Hawaiian restaurant, Da Kitchen! Their kalua pork is AMAZING! I asked for half the portion because I was scared I would get sick since I hadn't eaten meat since our last visit to Da Kitchen. I... More
