Da Kitchen is located near vacation condos. The food is wonderful. The portions are large and very reasonably priced. It is moderately furnished but we usually go there for take out.

Da Kitchen has da local flavor you seek. Nice portions and very good food. I usually get the 2 entree; kalua pork and chicken katsu. I eat the chicken for lunch and then finish the pork for dinner. They have a varied menu, but I always get the same thing. Comes with 2 sides (I like the potato salad and... More

We went in because my husband wanted authentic Hawaiian food. This is the first time he's tried Hawaiian food. He was not impressed. We're not sure if he just didn't like Hawaiian food or the plate was horrible. I actually didn't mind my plate, but I also took it safe and just went with noodles that I always love. He... More

I didn't find out about this place until the day I left Maui. We stopped here for lunch before heading to the airport. The staff was very nice and the food was awesome. They have great flavors and huge portions. The orders come in takeout boxes whether you eat there or not, so it would be handy to take down... More

My husband and I eat here at least once when we vacation here to get the Kalua pork. Big portions. Delicious.

Wanted to try some locally made food, which they had a wide variety. Not excited to eat in and eat out of takeout trays. Not the best for the environment. Our family did not enjoy the taste of our food. Just get takeout and enjoy the view somewhere else. Maybe just not a good day for them.

Very good food! Casual atmosphere and the breaded mahi sandwich was hot, crispy and tasty. The staff was friendly and our food arrived quickly.

Really great vibe and the food tasted great but it was REALLY greasy and our entire party felt poorly after eating. Was definetely worth trying but not somewhere we would eat often.

This establishment--as one can tell from its name--aims at local tastes and portions. I had the chicken katsu and it was over the top. Very affordable, and the portions are such that we took the leftovers and carried them into the next meal. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere.
