Excellent local fav's

We eat at this and the Kahului location. They offer very typical Hawaiian fare. Their Kailula Pork and Hawaiian Mac Salad are fabulous

Portions are huge and the food is tasty what more could you ask for? Two scoops of rice, potato mac salad and teriyaki beef. The scoop of potato mac salad is kind of small but it seems to be everywhere. The Kahlua pork sandwich was huge and good too. A little on the salty side. Staff isn't terribly friendly. Our... More

Our tour guide from yesterday's trip to Hana suggested we try this cuisine. The teriyaki steak served with a generous serving of meat as well as rice plus a choice of a garden salad or the famous potato Mac salad. You have to order at the counter and pay. It's very down home because we ate out of large styrofoam... More

Our second trip to a Da Kitchen location. Service fine, food did not taste as great as the main location in Kahului. Large quantities for sure- but again, it just tasted better at the main shop. Keep in mind for those with kids, the restrooms are in a different part of the building.

We came here to try and get something more local. The food was pretty good except I would note that the Kahlua pork was extremely salty. The mac/Potato salad was great as was the katsu. My favorite though was the Spam Musabi deep fried. Whoa! Very trasty! I would definitely recommend this place especially if you are trying to find... More

A hole in the wall where the locals ate. Great food and the portions were big enough to share or take home

Loved the food at Da Kitchen. Some very unique dishes which featured Hawaiian and asian themes - or combinations of both. Good value, low key and family friendly.

We visited both the Da Kitchen in Kahalui & Da Kitchen Express in Kihei. Noticed it was full of both locals & tourists alike. Enjoyed everything we had especially the teriyaki beef and the saimen.

Great food and even better portion size. We met the crew when they were in San Francisco for the Cherry Blossom Festival and they were so nice when we showed up in Maui. Very friendly and nice. Make sure to go hungry and get one of their huge Loco Moco bowls.

We had lunch here on or final day in Maui and did not have to eat dinner as we were too full. The fish and chip's are excellent and the portions are large enough to share. Service was good too. Would go back for a meal if ever in Kehei again.
