Excellent food all around and very reasonable for Maui. The portions are huge!! My wife had the bento box and couldn't finish it and I had the Chicken Katsu which came with the homemade BBQ sauce which was a really neat twist that tasted awesome!! We went on our last night in Maui and wished we had gone there earlier.... More

A friend referred us to this place or we would not have even seen it. I loved my plate..the Loco Moco. My husband said his dinner was good. The ladies at the registers were very friendly. My only complaint was it got a little too hot in there even with their ceiling fans on I had to go wait outside... More

Easy sit in or take out place in a strip mall in Kihei.. We were a family of 3 and had a kaulua pork plate ($12.50) and a bowl of Saimin Noodles to share. I really enjoyed both. The pork was tender and not too salty. We opted for the mac to go with the 2 scoops of rice as... More

Simple restaurant with some unique menu choices. Reasonably priced. Limited seating and no air conditioning (so it could get a little uncomfortable on a hot day)..

Wanted a quick, late lunch, so tried Da Kitchen. Ordered mahi mahi fish and chips, and it was plenty to share. Very nice fish, great batter, fries were good. Order at counter, and find a seat, the food was ready very quickly.

We had the combo platter of katsu chicken and Kalua pork. The chicken was good, but I haven't had to many fried chicken thighs that weren't great. Pork was only so so. You get a ton of food so it is a good value. I would go back, but again it's nothing special.

This place came quite recommended by locals and a guidebook. The food was expensive and poorly prepared. My kalua pig was so salty it could barely be eaten. No free refills on soda. Try somewhere else.

Great local food. Serving sizes are huge ... plenty to share or save for another meal. Quite a variety of meals with local (Hawaiian style) flavor. Small eat in area or take out.

Visited with my family since they wanted local cuisine. With a group of 6 adults and 1 child we tried a variety of things. No one walked out unhappy. Honestly plates have lots of food could have easily been shared especially for lunch. We left with 3 containers of leftovers.

Eight family members ate lunch. Salads and fish was very good for a small place. Prices were fair, food fresh and small place to dine. However, food was delivered at five different times. The last two salads they forgot about and finally came with most everyone else was finished.
