I've been to Maui at least ten times in my life and am always on the search for yummy Sushi. You'd think with being so close to the ocean, it wouldn't be hard to find, but, guess again. Sushi Paradise is a nice, quaint restaurant with sushi that is ON POINT. One thing to note is there is only one... More

Excellent sushi, carefully, classically prepared. Not really a tourist joint, but small, with slow service so it is common to be turned away unless you reserve ahead.

My wife and I went here based on trip advisor reviews. We called ahead for a table, but we're starving and settled for counter space to get food as fast as possible. Both on the call and the service we received from the woman who "waited" on us did not impress me. She was not friendly or attentive, unless you... More

I AM a local and I've eaten Sushi in MANY places and over a LONG time. What Watanabe and Allysa create here is truly an oasis for sushi lovers. Note the other reviews, cuz when you understand their 'seating/serving system' you will have a better experience. OK back to the Sushi.....THE MOST flavor-able fish (all kinds), exquisitely prepared, and the... More

This was a very good sushi restaurant. You HAVE to make a reservation or there is no way you eating here. So do it. Make the reservation and go.

Yes, even better than the sushi I had in Japan :) The fish was super fresh and buttery like- it totally melts in your mouth! It's like eating small bites of heaven. I highly recommend this place but be prepared to crave this kind of sushi for life ;)

Sushi Paradise opens its doors at 6pm. The key is to make your reservation for 6:00 but arrive early and wait outside. They serve guests in the order they enter. If you want to sit at the counter you don't need a reservation. Our local friends insisted that we sit at the counter and watch the chef's artistry as he... More

I heard Sushi Prince. Sushi Paradise works too. Recommended by some Japanese locals, I thought I would give this place a try. I asked the Four Seasons Resort concierge to make my reservation. It was for 6pm. Later that evening, the concierge informed me that my reservation was pushed back to 8pm. At around 730pm, I made my way over... More
