Established in 2008. Taqueria Cruz is a fourth & fifth generation family-owned and operated business which was first established by our great-grandparents in the beautiful Wine Country of the Napa Valley. Our family got into the restaurant business in 1951, building a warm and successful eatery from the ground up, and we are willing to bet that they never imagined all of their hard work and love for cooking would one day reach beyond the vineyards and blossom on the beautiful island of Maui. We are very proud of our family history as well as our culture, and we know you will taste the love in our food. So please come and let us share with you what they have shared with us. From our family to yours, the love and aloha of Taqueria Cruz.

We were in Kihei for Cinco de Mayo and needed some Mexican food! We stumbled upon this place and loved the atmosphere and tasty food. It's BYOB and you sit outside at picnic type tables. There was a musician playing the night we were there and it was just a cool vibe. The chips and salsa were really good and... More

I built my own burrito with the blackened fish. The flavor was good. I actually enjoyed mine. My husband did the same thing only he had the pulled pork. We both went without tortillas and went for extra lettuce. His plate was awful. It looked soupy. It didn't have good flavor. The serving size wasn't huge. I would say it... More

While other reviewers raved about the tacos, I tried the pork burrito. Portion size was good, flavor was so-so. A worthwhile stop if you're craving Mexican-American style food but just average in my opinion.

Okay, we in Hawaii but we do like Mexican food. Went to lunch here and the three of us ate for less that $30. Good value, good food. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quick, relatively inexpensive Mexican lunch.

They don't have the nice salsa bar like Maui tacos, but the food is better- like you would get from a good taco truck. Worth seeking out- hidden in the back of a mall on Kihei road.

Really good Mexican. Not the greatest location. When we first walked up, my instinct was to leave. There was a large family dining outside and the food looked good so we went in. Very clean inside. Three of us had 'build your own' burritos. The pork was amazing. One of us had fish tacos- superb. Burritos were huge. All were... More

Being from Texas....you start to miss your chips and salsa after a few days away. We were so happy to find this little place. We dropped by for lunch twice during our trip and it was great both times. Fresh, flavorful tacos and took care of our mexican food cravings!

We stop here if we want quick Mexican food. I've only tried the tacos (so good, why try anything else). Beverages are in cans so bring your own if you want a fancy cup or ice.

Really good - inexpensive eats. Healthy options - good fast food. Literally tucked away in a corner, it could be easy to miss. Order and find a table outside to enjoy. You can go straight off the beach! Good local spot!
