Established in 2008. Taqueria Cruz is a fourth & fifth generation family-owned and operated business which was first established by our great-grandparents in the beautiful Wine Country of the Napa Valley. Our family got into the restaurant business in 1951, building a warm and successful eatery from the ground up, and we are willing to bet that they never imagined all of their hard work and love for cooking would one day reach beyond the vineyards and blossom on the beautiful island of Maui. We are very proud of our family history as well as our culture, and we know you will taste the love in our food. So please come and let us share with you what they have shared with us. From our family to yours, the love and aloha of Taqueria Cruz.

Worth checking out

They don't have the nice salsa bar like Maui tacos, but the food is better- like you would get from a good taco truck. Worth seeking out- hidden in the back of a mall on Kihei road.

Really good Mexican. Not the greatest location. When we first walked up, my instinct was to leave. There was a large family dining outside and the food looked good so we went in. Very clean inside. Three of us had 'build your own' burritos. The pork was amazing. One of us had fish tacos- superb. Burritos were huge. All were... More

Being from Texas....you start to miss your chips and salsa after a few days away. We were so happy to find this little place. We dropped by for lunch twice during our trip and it was great both times. Fresh, flavorful tacos and took care of our mexican food cravings!

We stop here if we want quick Mexican food. I've only tried the tacos (so good, why try anything else). Beverages are in cans so bring your own if you want a fancy cup or ice.

Really good - inexpensive eats. Healthy options - good fast food. Literally tucked away in a corner, it could be easy to miss. Order and find a table outside to enjoy. You can go straight off the beach! Good local spot!

Easy to recommend. Food truck-style tacos. Baja fish among the best I've had, although they were a little light on the fruity slaw/aioli on our second visit. Pulled pork no match for the awesome Kalua pork tacos at Killer Tacos on the BI, but still very good. Tasty hot salsa as well. Zero atmosphere, great tacos. (Although I have no... More

My cousin actually told me about this place while he was in Maui on his honeymoon. I'm glad I scouted it out because those were some of the best blackened fish tacos I have ever had! I try and visit the Island every year and this will definitely be my GO TO PLACE!

We visited Taqueria Cruz several times (with kids and the grandparents) -- and tried possibly the entire menu. I preferred the fish tacos (baja style) and shrimp tacos, but the pork was also excellent. Like some of the other fish taco places in Kihei, this is tucked away in a strip mall -- therefore, it lacks a little atmosphere, but... More

The tacos are good, not great, but good. The fish taco ws actually pretty good, but the asada less so. The prices are right.

I've never had bad Mexican food until this place, and I've eaten a lot of Mexican food. My husband and I both got the vegetarian burrito - the vegetables were soggy and limp with zero flavor. Salsa was the only good thing about it. The service was fine, but nothing extraordinary.
