Great Breakfast

The signature banana bread french toast was rich and flavorful, but the attentive service is what won me over. Good breakfast food and the prices were reasonable for the location.

Don't be fooled by the ambiance of this place-the food far outweighs the decor. While it may come across as a simple, somewhat bare bones place, our dinner was totally outstanding! We both had the mahi mahi special with a citrus basil pesto sauce and grilled veggies. And so far, it's the best food we've had in Maui (better than... More

This place was close to our condo and the perfect place to have breakfast. The food was good, the staff was kind and the view was amazing.

Breakfast review. First a word about the famous Banana Bread French toast.. don't. It's a slice of overly spiced, dense cakey bread that's flipped on the flat top and served with a pat of butter and pancake syrup. A bit too 'christmas' and very ordinary. The wrong thing to order for breakfast even if you're in a pancakes kinda mood.... More

Best omelets and good french toast. Made with banana bread. Could be considered too sweet.. Service was very good. We'll be back! .

I wish we had tried this place sooner, rather than on our last day on Maui. Breakfast was delicious! 🌴 I had eggs over medium and they were cooked to perfection. The hash browns and Portuguese sausage were outstanding. My husband had the Whale Pie. He loved it! We also shared a slice of their famous banana bread french toast.... More

You have to look for this place as it back off Kihei Road. Went for the sunset menu (between 5 & 6 PM). Had a salad, braised short ribs and bread pudding for $27. In Maui that is a great value & to top it off, the food was very good. Also BYOB, so you just pay $5 corkage, which... More

Great place with great food. They don't serve liquor but you can BYOB. Kids menu was great. Love to see places that have good food like fish and veggies on their kids menu and not your average KD and chicken fingers crap. The food was amazing. Service was great. Highly recommend.

We tried 808 Bistro for breakfast. It wasn't crowded, so didn't have to wait to be seated. Our server was prompt to get our drink order, and take our food order. Breakfast was nothing "special" for the price. Breakfast was OK. There's better breakfast places on Maui. Not that anything was wrong with 808 bistro, just an average breakfast.

The first time we ate at the 808 Bistro (Aug 9), breakfast was delicious & service was great. This morning we were put in a small corridor where we couldn't see the view even though there were other tables open, had to wait 20 minutes to get someone to take our order and then had to ask for the bacon...
