I live on Maui and only go out on special occasions. 808 Bistro is a consistent good place to enjoy a great dinner out. With a good menu and BYOB, you can always count on great service and meal. Do not miss this one when looking for another place to eat in South Maui.

A pleasant setting and good service. Food was good but not great. The filet mignon we ordered medium rare but came well done but we sent it back and got at least a medium steak the second time. BYOB and only a USD 5 fee!

This is the way I like to think of Maui. Tropical lanai seating in a garden tucked away from the main Kihei drive. Exemplary friendly service, and a creative well crafted menu. Breakfast is a leisurely wake up. It's all "No problems Braa" with Banana bread french toast. The prix fixe dinner special offers delicious variety and one of the... More

We've been to 808 a few times and really enjoy it. You can really feel the care and soul they put into your food. The dishes are not overly complicated but they are well executed and very enjoyable. We started with the crab dip and buffalo shrimp and devoured them. Next on to the main course - 2 orders of... More

Wish they would have been open earlier in the afternoon, but the meal was definitely worth the wait. Clam chowder & Short Rib Pot Pie were excellent. They have a Banana Bread French toast offered in the morning which sounds great - we weren't able to go that early in the day so will have to wait til our next... More

If you want to sit in a relaxing atmosphere while watching the ocean in the background and good reggae music and good food.. this is the place for you. Chill, relaxed, environment, byob with great service! The banana bread French toast is a must. You can order 1,2, or 4. The egg sandwich was good as well.

The 808 Bistro is tucked away in a small shopping center off the main road so you have to be looking for it. It is a quiet, relaxing atmosphere in a small, nicely appointed locale. The service is provided by a team of young women - low key, pleasant and efficient. We had a great breakfast at a reasonable price... More

Been eating there for many years, staff and management are great, you can bring your own wine/beer for a very smal corkage fee. Food is great.

It was a nice and quiet brunch here for my wife and I. Kihei gets pretty busy during the day but this place was tucked away behind the 808 deli and a Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious and the coffee was good. I had the whale pie which I loved. My wife got the curry omelet which she wasn't... More
