Friendly staff and an owner that truly cares about his staff, his customers and the quality of the food. We drove from Ka'anapali to Kihei four of the six days we were on Maui just to eat at this restaurant. A high quality food for a very reasonable price. Something that you do not expect to find on Maui. This... More

My husband and i are food professionals with a long resume of dining. Coconuts serves one of the best fish tacos ever! This is the #1 dish we would recommend, although I am sure any of the fresh fish would be amazing. This is a small, spartan, move-em-in-move-em out- place with a long line at peek times, Still, everyone was... More

If you enjoy fish give them a try. Had the blackened Mai Mai and was very tasty. Others had the fish and chips with 2 different fish with both being very good. Fish is not heavy battered, more of just a coating on it. Frys are nothing to write home about. Overall a very good fish meal.

Best fish tacos on Maui! I would leave it at that by TripAdvisor wants me to have at least 100 characters in my review :) There, done! Oh, and don't leave the island without making Coconuts Fish Cafe one of your stops/meals!

Service is everything going and this place has it. Great people working here and making sure you are enjoying your food. We went here twice and the fish tacos are to die for. With 17 ingredients it's a party in your mouth. Value and real plates and silverware this place gets a green award !

What a great experience! Cute little restaurant not big at all. Recommending going at 4 pm for dinner, if you want to eat in, any later there is a line out the door. (If that is not an indication of good food) We recommend takeout. We had fish, and Chicken tacos. Also, had the basket of onion rings had a... More

We got the fish tacos which we loved. Really appreciate that they are grilled, not fried though it was almost too many toppings. Still, tasted great. The shrimp and chips were fine though the cocktail sauce was tasty. Overall, great place with good food and not too expensive for Maui standards.

My fiance' and I stopped here for our first meal getting to this side of the island. I got fish tacos and he got fish and chips! Both were great! We would highly recommend checking Coconuts out! The customer service was great as well!

The seafood is excellent and priced very fairly. We went twice during a recent trip to Maui, and both times it was great. It's casual, first come, first served. You will probably have to sit at a table with some other people, but that's just part of the atmosphere of this unusual place.

With all the really expensive fish restaurants in Wailea, finding a value seafood meal is a mission. Coconuts maybe the place. Yelp reviewers give it high marks. My Ono fish was tough. I could not cut it with my fork. My son liked his Mahi Mahi.
