Great find

I really like the food here. I used to love Alexander ' s but it closed and I am happy to have Coconut ' s as a great alternative.

Packed house everytime we went! Always fun place, great personalities (from the soon to be owner to the kid that constantly cleaned the glass entry door =) Food is good and everything was very hot !! Pretty SPENDY (but everything is in Hawaii) $12+ for a side of onion rings and 2 ice teas...?? Ono sandwiches & fish tacos were... More

A casual restaurant in a shopping center but the fish was first class and prices very low. The fish tacos were great and the tuna burger even better. Easy to recommend!

My wife and I ate dinner here. We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was probably the best calamari I have ever had! It was so fresh. For the main course I had fish and chips and my wife had the fish tacos. My fish and chips were delicious especially the Ono. My wife mentioned that the fish... More

My wife and I went here on a recommendation from friends. These were the best fish tacos I've ever had. I'm a pretty big eater and was full after one order which comes with two tacos. The mango salsa is excellent. Be prepared to get a little messy, they're well worth it and the napkins are free.

Had dinner here our first night in town, and we were all very happy we did. The fish tacos are fantastic. You get 2 to an order, and for the average to big eater, that will be plenty. They are piled high with grilled white fish, cheese, salsa, their special homemade slaw, and a little mango on top for color.... More

First you come here for the food, not the ambience or the service. Coconuts is walk up ordering and in a strip mall. The fish is fresh, imaginative, and well prepared. It's worth a stop on every trip to Maui. A tip, don't go at peak hours. When it gets slammed, the walk up order line goes out the door... More

this cute little restaurant has lots of wonderful and fresh options, I copied a small portion of their fish tacos. Ingredients melded together to create complex flavors and couple that with 7 different layers of textures, including both freshly cut and perfectly grilled Mahi Mahi and Ono – that's your first bite of a Coconut's Fish Cafe fish taco. These... More

Fish tacos were flavorful - fresh fish (grilled perfectly), 17 interesting flavors (mangos, cabbage, salsa fresca, etc), and a crispy fried flour taco. Service was very friendly and open to toddlers. Pass on the keiki (kids) menu - the quesadillas were bland.

This place seems way more like a locals joint than a tourist trap. The food is super good, and the prices are very reasonable. My boyfriend and I shared the seafood chowder (awesome!) and the Ahi appetizer (really delicious!). He got the ono plate and I got the mahi plate, which were both very good, but too much food for...
