Great Fish Tacos

Good all around food but Coconut's is know for their Fish Tacos. Very flavorful and full of slaw, fish, mango, etc. Messy to eat but thats why you have a fork! Very tasy! Also had chicken tacos and Ono sandwich which both were good! Friendly, fun dining sitting either inside or out on surf board... read more

Our resort concierge recommended this restaurant. My wife and I both had the fish tacos and coconut shrimp. We loved it!

Having ate recently at Eskimo Candy and Paia South I'm convinced Coconuts is in a class of it's own. The breading on the fish and chips was light and flavorful without taking anything away from the fish. The platter comes with a large fillet of Ono and one of Mahi Mahi. Both were delicious. The fries were a big enough... More

Friends recommended this to us. The restaurant is not very big. You order at the counter and then grab a seat as soon as one is available. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The manager checked in with us twice to make sure our meals were great and to see if we needed anything. Our fish dishes were all... More

I do not ordinarily go to restaurants exclusively for fish. However, the people we were with said that we needed to try the fish tacos as Coconut's. What a find. They were excellent. I could learn to like fish! We visited Coconut's 4 times during our stay.

I absolutely loved the fish tacos, amazing. My husband is not a fish lover and everything we tried there was always good. We ate twice in the same week and would have loved to go more. The owner came out and talked with us as we ate outside. Really great place. Fair amount of food for the price, too, which... More

Went on the advice of a friend who raved about this place last year. I was not impressed, tacos were just okay and the fish tasted funny. I liked the corn tortillas and the pineapple salsa but that's about it. Plus the portions are ridiculous and you can't just order one taco because an order includes two. Way too much... More

Went because of TA reviews. They claim to be famous for their fish tacos, which were good. But, LOVED several other items far more. We went two days in a row! Both days I got the macadamia nut crusted mahi-mahi which was incredible. I may go a third time just for it. My husband got the blackened mahi- mahi one... More
