This steak and seafood restaurant was excellent. Our server, Steve was attentive, professional and excellent at describing the meals and making recommendations. We made reservations and had no problem with seating. I had prime rib (really good!) and my husband had the fish of the day with a delicious lemon butter sauce. We finished off the meal with the brownie... More

We came for dinner and the restaurant was fairly busy. The server was disinterested and through the course of the meal we were never asked for a second round of drinks or how our food was. The salads were warm & swimming in dressing, we did leave a suspect oyster that was dried around the edges and my husband spent... More

Every thing I have tried at the Cafe is very good and the fish is always fresh and delicious - lunch specials are da kine...but get there by 1 pm to enjoy them for sure. Bartender Kat is the best and always has a kind word and smile to share.

We made reservations here because we were looking for a sushi place and Cafe O'Lei had good reviews. However, once we were seated and given menus, we noticed there weren't any sushi dishes on the menu. Upon asking, we were told that sushi is not served on Sundays and Mondays. And we were there on a Monday. We were disappointed... More

We came here for dinner and had the special, mahi mahi and the Asian style shirt ribs. They were so delicious and best on the island! A bit of a wait during the busy time batt well worth it, tried the sushi, it was good but not as good compared to paia!

This is our favorite restaurant! Although it is ALWAYS busy, the service is great. The sushi chef makes amazing rolls (yummy, tasty, unique, "special" rolls too) The Mai tai's are the best on the island. Great food and good value. The fresh fish lunch specials are a favorite too!! Delicious! Mahalo, Kimo, Masa and all the servers for being consistent and... More

Being on the second floor and right on the main street, I didn't expect the inviting atmosphere and very good food. The service was great, the food was very good and fairly priced (for Maui). Put this on your list for good restaurants on Maui.

I have not been in years, but had a fantastic dinner here with friends last week. They were impressed as were we......great menu, reasonably priced for the quality & portions, good service & amazing food! The only "wish" is that it had an ocean view, but the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. One of the best dinners we have... More

We came here upon recommendation by a friend. It was busy, we had no reservation so had to wait about. 20-30 minutes for a table but figured that was a good sign. We had an amazing meal, the service was perfect and the food was very good. We both have worked in restaurants for many years so know what makes... More

We had high expectations of this place, we had a reservation on the night the hurricane was supposed to hit the big island, and when we walked the mile from our hotel found a sign on the door saying they were closed. We made a reservation for 2 nights later, found the place was very busy on arrival. We were... More
