I have not been in years, but had a fantastic dinner here with friends last week. They were impressed as were we......great menu, reasonably priced for the quality & portions, good service & amazing food! The only "wish" is that it had an ocean view, but the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. One of the best dinners we have... More

We came here upon recommendation by a friend. It was busy, we had no reservation so had to wait about. 20-30 minutes for a table but figured that was a good sign. We had an amazing meal, the service was perfect and the food was very good. We both have worked in restaurants for many years so know what makes... More

We had high expectations of this place, we had a reservation on the night the hurricane was supposed to hit the big island, and when we walked the mile from our hotel found a sign on the door saying they were closed. We made a reservation for 2 nights later, found the place was very busy on arrival. We were... More

Cafe O'Lei had better choices, prices, and atmosphere than most places in Kihei. We arrived at 3:40 for lunch and the kitchen actually closes from 3:30-4:30 which is kind of a bummer...there must be a reason why they do this because otherwise, I miss the point of why it's important. So during this hour, you can sit at the bar... More

The food was pretty good, the service a little slow, but very accomodating with our 10 month old. Overall, I think I would come back given the chance.

Place was humming! We wanted a nice place outside of our resort hotel. This place was great. Food/service terrific. Wooden chairs are awful when sitting for 2 hr meal. They should place cushion on these!

We went to Cafe O'Lei with a party of 10. They seated us promptly and the service throughout the meal was excellent. Everyone in the party had something different and they all said it was very good. The only drawback if it is pretty much an open room with tables and the noise level is very high, making conversation difficult.

Good food for sure but the drinks are amazing as is the service. We have been there several times and have never been disappointed with any part of the dining experience. It is fun to sit at the sushi bar. The sushi chef is very good with children. Our 5 1/2 year old grandchild loved the experience and could not... More

My family and I ate here our first night in Maui. The service was good and the food was above average. Prices were reasonable for Maui. However as we were finishing our meals we saw first one bug scurry up the wall and then another scurry across the window right next to us. Needless to say that was quite upsetting.... More
