Tasty tuna sandwich

We wanted a quick lunch, so we stopped by Ba-Le in the food court. Wow, is it ever noisy in there. The people weren't loud, but every noise just seemed to echo back off the ceiling. Anyway, the food was very good. I had the tuna sandwich, which was huge. Lots of tuna, with shredded cabbage... read more

My daughter found this restaurant based on the Yelp reviews. They secured enough support to get a Yelp sticker on their front door. They even had a Zagat rating! We were not disappointed. My wife and I shared the assorted meats on dry noodles (if my memory is correct, it was #11 on the menu). The meats (chicken, shrimp, pork... More

Ordered the tofu fresh rolls with peanut sauce. I could not identify tofu in my wrap, or anything really. The peanut sauce is like congealed in the center (cannot dip). The whole thing is awful! Maybe their other food is good....but this dish is a fail.

We have eaten at all three Ba-Le locations on Maui...Kihei, Kahului, and Wailuku. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service quick, and the amount generousI I love the Lemongrass Chicken sandwich on fresh rolls. The Pho is incredible no matter which one we choose. Two weeks ago at the Kahului location we enjoyed bowls of fragrant broth with... More

I've eaten here many times. From sandwiches to win ton soup. The service is fast, the good is prepared when ordered, comes out to its proper temperature. Fresh veggies and I usually take half my order home. It's in a food court, and I've met nice folks to share the table with. Worth a stop.

I am a self diagnosed bahn mi (Vietnamese roll) addict... In my home town I'm not averse to driving at least half an hour for Vietnamese rolls that are not even in the same league as these!! Service is fast and furious, with so many people wanting these delicious goodies, order your stuff and move on! I had a char... More

This little gem is hidden away in the food court of the Lahaina Cannery Mall and is genuine unpretentious Vietnamese food. We had the Pho meal and split it between the two of us - It was plenty for us and very good food with friendly staff. We had the bonus of eating there on a Sunday early afternoon when... More

We read about this in a traveler's guide and decided to stop by. The food was amazing, I ordered Pho and the bowl was big enough to feed 3 people. Loved it, would definitely go again

I wish we discovered this place at the beginning of our trip not the end! I believe there is also a restaurant in Lahaina, where we stayed. Anyway, we found this place on accident. I was looking for takeout food to bring on our plane ride home. Actually, I was craving fried rice from one of our favorite places, Aloha... More

I consider myself an expert on pho, and this version is quite good. Enormous portions with a lot of meat; broth is a bit weak but OK once you spice it up and add the greenery they supply. Their sandwiches are very good; perfect for a picnic lunch.
