ATMOSPHERE: They're located at The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course. You're greeted by a koi pond that is filthy green. I'm surprised the fish were alive in there. There's an outdoor lanai with gorgeous views of the golf course, and West Maui Mountains. The indoor room is spacious along with a... read more

This has become our favorite restaurant in Kahului! You can't beat their fish lunch special on the lanai looking at the mountain! Delicious and picture perfect.

We ate here the first night of our arrival as it was directly across the street from our condo. So glad we did. The chef here is phenomenal. We had the Ono (means delicious in Hawaiian) and boy was it. It was lightly breaded and was covered with a light caper sauce. I miss it already.

While waiting on my dad and son to finish their round of golf, my husband and I stopped in the restaurant to get a drink. My husband ordered a Mai Tai which he was the best one he's had. We also ordered a quick bite, fried calamari. The calamari was surprisingly delicious. It was tender but crisp on the outside.... More

We were a group of eight for a late lunch with a reservation. The place was very busy with lunch crowd, but we were seated without wait. We promptly put our menu selections. Moana lettuce wrap was very tasty for appetizer. Server was somewhat inattentive during our meal--our drinks didn't get filled. Food was very good with reasonable price for... More

Thought this restaurant might be pricey as it is on the golf course, but we were pleasantly surprised. The dishes are reasonably priced, and the food is delicious. One of the best meals we had in Maui. I had the shrimp, papaya and avocado salad and my husband had the blackened mahi-mahi. Both selections were excellent. My husband had the... More

We love both of the Cafe O'lei restaurants in Maui. This trip we have had lunch at both of them and our favorite is the macadamia nut crusted fish which we had to ask for and pay a dollar extra! It's definitely worth it!

My husband heard about this restaurant from another visitor to Maui. We decided to check it out since they raved so much about it. What a pleasant surprise it was indeed! It is the restaurant at the Dunes Maui Lani Gold Course. We expected golf course type of food, but the quality of the meal was much above that expectation.... More

We stopped for an early lunch at 11:30am. The service was extremely slow b/c we had a very inattentive server and the restaurant was not even remotely busy at the time. However, the food almost made up for it! Huge portions (probably too much food!), but the Mac Nut Chicken Sandwich and Brie, Bacon,Tomato Sandwich included a large salad, are... More
