Fresh, Fresh food

We have been here twice for dinner. The wait times are not too long and the food is great. The prices are pretty good. Most people wouldn't consider a good restaurant at a golf course. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Went here with a friend for lunch and was surprised how busy it was. Maui is a small island and I always look for places not so crowded with tourists only. A mix of locals and tourists is best, as both look for good food and good prices, which you find here. My friend had the special- they have 2... More

I have been to Cafe O'Lei at the Dunes several times over the last few years. I am always disappointed in the food. The steak and burgers are OK. The Ceasar salad -- one of my favorite go-to's in any restaurant is sub par, and the French onion soup was nothing to get excited about. The Ceasar salad was very... More

The restaurant is located in the beautiful Dunes Golf Course club house in Kahului, Maui. The setting is outstanding with a tropical golf course providing the view and action. The menu offers an outstanding selection of cuisine, much based on local dishes including fish. The kitchen staff consistently prepares outstanding, great tasting meals which are presented with pronounced eye appeal.... More

We were invited to join friends for dinner and ordered the grilled shrimp. The pesto sauce was delicious and the shrimp were firm and tasty! Individual bills were cheerfully provided, desserts were served to share, and service was good. The restaurant is a little noisy, but we were seated by french doors that opened to the tradewinds, so it was... More

We were invited for dinner here last night and I was more than impressed with the view and the food. There were four of us and we shared two appies Lettuce wraps and quesadilla and both were fabulous. I had the Ahi tuna as an entree which was also fabulous. This was one of the best meals I had in... This is a very busy, noisy restaurant, but great value. Plenty to choose from on the menu, good service. Good selection on the dessert menu all priced at $5.95. Parking is easy. A reservation is advised. They even work out the suggested tip,

Have visited this restaurant four time and have enjoyed the crab salad sandwich three of the four times. Per my fellow dining companions the dinner and lunch specials are always good and a great value. The views outside of the gold course and Maui mountains are very hard to beat.

When you land at the airport, pick up your luggage and car and you are ready for a relaxing, quiet and affordable lunch, head to Maui Lani golf course. It is hard to find a lunch special for 6.95, but you can, if you stop here. The crab cakes are divine, a side salad with lilikoi dressing is large salad... More

Exceptional food for the price with fantastic view from covered patio seating. Closes a bit too early during the week, however, weekends have extended hours. Cocktail menu needs some updating and draft beer would be nice, but full bar, bottled beer and a decent wine by the glass selection is nothing to complain too much about.
