Heard a lot of hype so figured we try it out after shopping at the mall and so so. Food wasn't bad, just average, typical bar food. It was a Monday nigh so there was the football crowd plus a live band made it difficult to talk to my wife with all the noise. Will go back to try the... More

This is a typical sports bar with numerous TVs but they do have good food at a reasonable price. The beer however is very overpriced but this place seems to be popular with the locals. Good after a long tiring day touring Maui but there are much better places to eat.

Many vacationers stay on the West Side of Maui or the South Side when they go out. Try the Kahului Ale house, where you will find a true Hawaiian local atmosphere. Yes its a sports bar, but the food is very good, often they have life music and don't forget the Sushi. The Kahului Ale house has a Sushi Bar... More

Fresh off the plane from the mainland, we drove straight to the Ale House to catch the last half of the Oregon-Washington football game (Go Ducks!) and grab a bit to eat. Ducks were on several screens and we were able to watch them methodically cruise to another win. We found out, after being seated, that they don't have Happy... More

Piss poor service from the "hostess" when we walked in having our menus thrown on the dirty table and dirty booth seats. The waitress did offer her opinions on what she though was good. They had a special of tacos that turned out looking delicious, but the shells turned out to be a taco shell that was deep fried again... More

If you go when Harry is behind the sushi bar you will have some of the best sushi on Maui! They also have great salads, burgers and live music. Also has a full bar with a good vibe.

Yes it was loud. The live band a little too much for me, but on the bright side, my toddler could be as noisy as he wanted without disturbing others. I feel like the service and food has improved drastically in the past few months. I used to be scared I would have a bad experience, but they've been on... More

Go for lunch! You can enjoy the food without the loudness of the men screaming at sports teams! We had a fantastic reuben, salad, and burger! They are not overpriced and they have a variety of hawaiian-american food! The alcohol was great (its an ale house.) very fast!

Sorry but this place is average at best. service slow. bar loud. I had a friend there who was insulted by people at the bar and the bar tender did nothing to intervene to the point our friend actually left (gay jokes). Not a fan. Will never go again.
