As always, bistro Casanova delivered a very good meal with warm ambiance in Kahului. We went early for dinner and enjoyed the food and got home before the neighborhood fireworks started. Inconvenient for visitors in Lahaina or Kihei but makes a good stop before or after the airport. Our top choice for Italian food in Kahului!

This Bistro is close to the Maui Arts and Cultural center, so you can dine before a performance. We had a reservation and arrived at 5:30 on Friday night, the place was packed. Seems to be a place for after work happy hour. We were a group of 10 and had a reservation. Everyone enjoyed their pasta meals, but I... More

We had a 7:30 reservation on a Wednesday night and they were ready to seat us upon our arrival. We declined indoor seating because the noise level of the patrons was intense. I do not think that any one table or tables were partying too hard. It just seemed that the room had poor acoustics and as a result, definitely... More

Great bouillabaisse that was loaded with seafood! Everyone in my group enjoyed their meals. Our server was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the restaurant was fairly loud for a business dinner. May have been loud since we were sitting in the middle if the restaurant.

This was a very pleasant find. We were staying at the Maui Seaside Hotel and wanted a nice restaurant within walking distance. A helpful person from Trip Advisor recommended it. If you are in the area definitely try it. I had Dusk a la orange and my hubby had roast beef. Both were excellent. There are many Italian dishes on... More

We had dinner on Saturday night and it was not crowded. We were seated in in the back area. We were given menus. After we waited for a while I asked for water from a waitress walking pass our table. She brought the water then our waitress came to our table. By then we already decided and placed our order. The... More

Spent my last pre-departure meal on Maui here. Sorry to say I was quite underwhelmed. I must have called their other restaurant in Makawao--upcountry, because the one in Kahului had limited Happy Hour offerings and not such great prices. The French onion soup and calamari were just ok. They did not have the Happy Hour tapas that I was told... More

Went there on our way back from Hana. After a long drive, we got really hungry and wanted a quick meal, and were a little held back on going to a Italian place, fearing the food would come slow. However, the food was delivered quickly, and the food itself is really good and of large portions. We ordered lobster salad... More

Our first meal in Maui was at Bistro Kahului. Upon recommendation from my son who is working on the island. We found the entrees one of the best around the state let alone cities we've dined in across the US. Salads are fresh and well prepared. Entrees are extremely well executed. I had the lamb and you could not ask... More
