Yes, you have to take your trash with you, but that was a minor inconvenience. And the wait was a bit longer than Mc Donalds, but the freshness of the food and the ambience of eating out among the plants and trees on the Road to Hana can't be beat. Our kids don't like fish tacos, but they loved the... More

If you are the type to appreciate freshly prepared simple low maintenace goodness you will love this place. The menu isn't huge but this is a little shack of a place without a lot of resources except what is fresh and available. Fish tacos with fresh Ono was delicious. Vegetarian spring rolls made fresh stuffed with fresh lettuces, basil and... More

I recently took a trip on the Hana Highway to do some bird watching. I am not an avid birder but, I know of the Hana Highway and wanted to see it. My companion is both an avid bird watcher and a serious foodie. The Highway is great. The views, waterfalls, flora, fauna, etc..... all incredible. I will say that... More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch in the middle of driving on the road to Hana. We weren't sure what to expect considering there aren't many food options along the way, but we were very pleasantly surprised! We both got fish tacos that were very delicious and it was easy to tell that the ingredients were fresh. I... More

I feel the other reviews on here are fake, or it just switched ownership. Because this "gourmet cafe" is a food truck with no selection, who won't even give you a glass of water. The food was awful. I got a shrimp wrap, and I barely got one bite down. Almost no seating, no bathrooms, and NO TRASH CANS. They... More

1. None are fake reviews. 2. Yes, we are a food truck and we are serious “foodies” -- we grind our own flour so it’s fresh, make our own ice cream, are cautious about sugar, and use fresh ingredients. 3. There is no trash pickup, no garbage trucks, in the jungle. We go to town an hour away once a... More

Stoppedd over during our road to Hana drive. It's a small family owned business as you enter the garden of Eden. We had the fish tacos, they were really good! You could tell all the ingredients were super fresh.

This is a family cafe. We stopped on our way to Hana. We didn't know it existed till we got inside the gate that lead to the gardens. We had fish tags and it was the best in Maui. Fresh, clean and tasty. I definitely recommend all their stuff. We sat outside looking at the secnery of the way to... More

Really loved this place. As you enter the grounds of the arboretum, turn left instead of going straight towards the entrance. Great fresh, quality food. Loved the fish tacos. And the cookies?oh my....All good but the coconut macaroons were honestly the best either of us have ever had. Just outstanding. Very nice people and a nice stop on the road... More

This was definitely one of the pleasant surprises for us during our visit to Maui. Great fish tacos and summer shrimp rolls, and very tasty coffee. Even if you don't visit the gardens, stop by the cafe for some snack or lunch!
