Good food but a bit too elaborated for a "country side" restaurant. Keeping it simpler would more fit into the context Terrible terrible service Expensive

I've only eaten breakfast here. It was very good but nothing special other than the daily muffin and juice which were unusual and especially good. I think its the only time I've paid over $100 for a breakfast for 4 people. Nice atmosphere and view over the lawns.

We are Maui residents and we travel to Hana a few times a year. Everytime we make a point to have Breakfast and dinner at least once each visit. Food is excellent - we love breakfast on the lanai! Dinner this time was pretty slow to arrive (over 40 minutes) but they were busy. I hope management sees this and... More

Prices exorbitant for what you get - local Prime rib was average, mashed potatoes are hard to mess up, but these were not worth eating. Vegetables at least were good! The waitress was nice and competent. The dining room had a cold and cavernous feel - eat on the porch if you go.

Nice environment and good music at night... the breakfasts are good with a different fresh juice everyday, they have traditional Hawaiian food like Maca Pancakes but also regular food and some fancy dinner selections. The watermelon soup was horrible... sorry. MY boyfriend loved the Lobster Benedict ---expensive but delish!

My boyfriend and I went to the Travassa to visit some friends who were staying there. The hotel is very nice and classy so we expected good food as well. Wrong. I had the bacon salad (not sure what it was called) and asked for extra bacon. I got 2 pieces, iceberg lettuce, several slices of tomato and blue cheese... More

Considering this is only one of a handful of restaurants in Hana, we can't really complain about the food, but it wasn't anything spectacular. The grounds of Travaasa were beautiful and provided a great backdrop for breakfast, but the food and service was nothing special. It was pretty expensive ($65 for 2 people), but again, we really didn't have any... More

We really enjoyed our evening here - the food was yummy and the drinks were too. Our view on the deck was lovely, and they had great live Hawaiian music. It was quite pricey. There are limited places to eat in Hana and if you are looking for a fancier place (eg with clothe napkins and a wine list) this... More

We had a very nice dinner at the Travassa. We really enjoyed the service by Styles. He was on top of our meal the entire evening. We had seafood, both for our starter and mains. For starters we had the Ahi Poke with guacamole and taro chips. It was very good. Highly recommended if it is on the menu. For... More
