Delicious food and a rewarding stop for lunch after doing the drive to Hana on New Years Day. Staff were great, and this place had a nice small-town Hawaii vibe. Worth a visit.

We tried this restaurant back in October for lunch and loved it. I ate the Mango salad with chicken. Super good. Other tried the dish of the day and were very pleased. Only downside, no toilets on site. :-)

Was told about this place by a good friend. Have been over to Hana area maybe 20 times or more and am amazed we never stumbled across this before. Chicken was moist and tasty. Atmosphere, in a tent, is authentic old Hawaii. Our waiter and the staff were excellent. Some of the reviews commented on occasional slow service. But remember,... More

This is a rugged little hole in the wall restaurant with some of the best Thai food I have ever experienced. The prices were extremely reasonable (unlike the rest of Maui) and you get a generous serving of food. However, if you are wanting a quick bite and looking to get back on the road beware the wait can be... More

if there was a cheap flight i would fly in just for the crispy snapper dish, it might be the most delicious thing i have ever had!

I'm a Thai food freak. It's one of my favorite cuisines so I know a thing or two, or three! This little tent, and yes, it's in a tent, is the best I've had outside of Thailand. Chicken with cashews is incredible. Seasoned perfectly and fresh moist chicken. Friendly service and a very unique, rugged scene. A tent on a... More

The weeks leading up to our trip all I kept thinking about was Thai food. I was saving my craving for Maui. After planning our Road To Hana Day, lunch would be at Pranee. Imagine my dismay when after a long, long drive the Thai chef was on vacation. My two choice were an ahi wrap or a kalua pork... More

There are not many places to eat in Hana but this place was one we found. Food was Ok and the people really friendly. Not that easy to find but worth it in the end.

Stopped here during a tour. I spent 3 nights in Hana back in 2007 and somehow missed this place - not that there are that many places to eat in that town... Anyway, the food was excellent. I have to assume this is what authentic Thai food tastes like because nothing I have ever had at home comes close to... More

What more can I say? Someone at our B&B recommended Pranee's the first day we arrived, so we ate lunch there that day and most of the rest of the week - everything was delicious, especially the green papaya salad and Thai iced tea (we recommend half coconut & half condensed milk). We even ate there the day of a... More
