Fish and chips

Mahi mahi fish and chips were great. Reminded me of fish and chips in the UK. This dish was actually one of the best things we ate during our 20 day tour through the Hawaiian Islands.

I have been to this establishment three times and every single time the owner, an older woman in her 60s is hostile and nasty if you ask her any questions, try to have a conversation with her, or have issue with food. The coconut shrimp dish is good, but never will I darken her door again OR recommend the many... More

Very good food. I had the coconut shrimp and my husband had the chicken and broccoli. There also some little shops to look In while you wait for your food. It gets busy around lunch time, so you will have to wait. Highly recommend stopping and eating here.

Stopped here on the way back from Hana. Ordered the Coconut shrimp, they were not cheap ($20) but were probably the best that I have ever tasted. Nice big butterflied jumbo shrimp had battered an cooked to perfection. We also had the Striped Marlin fish and chips. They were good also.

Stopped to get a bit to eat during our road to Hana trip and was not disappointed! Food was good atmosphere was awesome! Be prepared for a wait because it takes a bit for the food to get done and there are lots of hungry mouths here

We stopped here for lunch on our drive thru Hana. Big delicious Ahi fish and chips. At a reasonable price for the large serving with fries $16. I shared it with my husband.

Nice little place with locally caught fish, great food. I had the fish and chips, my wife had the fish tacos. Be sure to tip the little lady cooking the fish, she works non stop with a smile!

Actually the best we had in Maui. They told us it was yellow fin. It was perfectly done. Both the fish and chips were served perfectly cooked and REALLY hot. These were amongst the best fish we had while on Maui. Other people that were there said that they had great fish so we went there too. if I were... More

We were headed for the Hana Ranch to eat, but stopped by here and decided to eat the fresh fish & chips and vegetable chow mein! Everything was cooked in an old hippie bus! There was outdoor covered seating. A guy behind the bus was cleaning the fresh tuna so my husband said "let's eat!" The vegetable chow mein was... More

Wanted the pizza down the road, even bought some wine. Too bad it was Thursday! What to eat?! Didn't want fried food, but it appeared to be the specialty-at least fish n chips and coconut shrimp. No messing around. It was good!!! Read this before heading out of Hana because your phone won't get service out of town.
