We had what the travel guides had recommended at this casual roadside stall -- Kalua pig tacos, with slow-cooked pork that's shredded -- and they were amazingly good, and unbeatable value at just $7. I normally have fish tacos but decided to go with the advice, and glad I did!

Stopped in here while driving around the island. There were 6 of us and the food was served quickly. It was all good food. And then we were quickly back on the road. A nice stop.

This food truck sits in a cluster of other tiny shops that were mostly closed when we visited a week ago. Knowing that we wouldn't find much in Hana, we stopped for lunch. We had an order of coconut shrimp and the fish and chips from the catch of the day (it was Ono). As another writer has said, there... More

The food was great. Special made to order. We noticed other people eating and realized one plate of food would easily feed two people so we only ordered one plate. It was plenty! Very good!!! And the price was reasonable! Also,we were afraid it may be the only place to get food for a long time, so we took advantage... More

First of all, message to Sue--Eric says hi!!!!!!!!!!! This is about as simple, wholesome and delicious as food gets. Eric runs a stationary food truck a few miles outside of Hana on the road to Hana (it will be on your left hand side driving towards Hana and is hard to miss). He's a terrific guy, very honest and pleasant... More

We were here two years ago and had a great meal - so we wanted to come back and try it again with some friends. We had the coconut shrimp - lots of batter but great tasting and shrimp are big and the fish and chips - which everybody raved about. They were really great about talking to us, asking... More

3 of us shared the cashew chicken - excellent! My daughter hates everything and even she thought it was good. Very rustic atmosphere but nice.

Stopped by after a flight from San Diego and 5 hour tour of the Hana HIghway. Although we arrived 10 min after closing, the wonderful chef stayed open to wok fry us the most delicious battered Ohi fish and chips. It was the BEST! Even my daughter who doesn't eat fish, loved it. Wish we had ordered more.

Took the long Hana Road with my family of 5 day after Thanksgiving and so glad there is a stop here to fill our hungry bellies. The kids ordered the Beef with noodles for $12 which was delicious and completely finished but the Beef with Mushroom and Bell Peppers for $12 but it did not live up to expectations so... More
