My fiance and I stayed on Maui for 2 weeks and we asked the locals where they would eat. We were led to Horhitos Mobile Taqueria first and thought their $4 fish taco was really good. Then we came here after ziplining and the ono fish taco totally blew our minds! For $6 you'd get a big fat taco filled... More

Love this place. Wish they were open everyday. Best unique tacos*** 100 characters minimum for review? This place is simple without the hoopla. Best tacos should be enough info

These tacos were awesome. This stand is in a parking lot of a grocery store in the little town of Haiku. We went there after a zip line tour and on a recommendation from the guides. The tacos are $6 each with drinks only $1. My daughter (9) got the chicken on corn tortiallas with only cheese, and I got... More

I read about Island Taco on tripadvisor before our trip and we went ziplining near there, so we made a point to try this place. It was delicious!! Between the 7 of us we tried the pork, chicken, and fish tacos, all of which were excellent. The pineapple salsa was the best. It was plenty of food for a reasonable... More

How often do you drive 25 miles for a $6 taco? When you are on Maui and want to have a fun meal. This is really a Taco Stand, in a parking lot, which is only open for lunch on M, W, F and Sa. Seating is at a small table for 4 or a picnic table under a canopy....... More

If you are anywhere near Haiku you need to stop by this incredible Taco Stand. If you are driving to Hana, go past all the tourist places in Paia and go ten minutes down the road to get the "real thing". One of the best tacos my husband and I ever had! Three options - fish (Ono the day we... More

Haiku is a small quaint town on the north shore with several small places to eat. We have been to Maui many times and always enjoy Island Taco $6 ono taco when we visit Haiku. However this visit we returned several times only to find them closed in the middle of the afternoon and did not get to enjoy our... More

These tacos are big, cheap, and crazy delish! The owner is fun to talk to and everything is made while you wait. Three simple choices: Ono(!!!!), chicken, and pork served with black beans, cheese, cabbage, sour cream, cilantro, and pineapple or tomato salsa. There are also tons of sauces to choose from. Honestly the best lunch I've had in months.

Great grilled fish with fresh coleslaw. The picnic tables outside look over the ocean and have a wonderful breeze.
