Went for a late lunch. My husband had the normal burger and I had the bacon blue cheese. The fries were awesome, the cesars salat ok. The burgers were ok. It was a little greasy and ny bacon was hard as stone. The service was ok, the waitress was a little grumpy.

Such a great find.nfriendly family restaurant with awesome local cuisine. Huge portions. Try their beet salad as well. Best kept secret in Maui. Wish they had one more washroom. Always a wait, but Very clean

Tucked back in the lowland part of the Up Country, Haiku. "Colleens" has a nice local feel in the converted cannery. Friendly and laid back. Great burgers! Can't really endorse their pizza, though. A bit skimpy.

Full of people who clearly live here. Terrific BLT sandwich. Friendly service. Cheap. Fillled up fast after 9:00 am.

We live about a mile away from Haiku and have eaten there dozens of times. It is consistently good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (as well as takeaway), and they have very good and large breakfast burritos if you want to get out the door and on your way without sitting down to eat. The service can be on the... More

Popular with locals. Reasonable food in a neat space. Maui's eqivalent of a mainland diner, albeit with much more charm. One needs to order wisely here. Simple is best, as dishes vary considerably depending on who's in the kitchen. Best for breakfast. Fish sandwich and fries are good choices at lunch. Some beer and wine.

Unless you're a blond surfer dude under 30 forget getting decent service. Have been eating here for over 8 years, and the major interest of the all female wait staff seems to be serving the younger guys. My wife and I, who are locals, keep retrying in hopes of a change, but no luck. Walked out this morning at 10:30... More

Just paid $25 for a pizza, it was okay. Edges were black, crispy, cracked and burnt, pizza was very dry and covered in air bubbles. Definitely over cooked and room temperature, not even close to hot. Overall I suppose it was below average, if I could give it 2.5 stars I would. I don't think it really deserves a poor... More

Off the beaten path, this is a wonderful place to eat and relax. One of the best breakfast spots on Maui. Just don't tell anyone; let it remain uncrowned, and laid back!

When in Maui, HI., we are always looking for new places to eat. A day out sight-seeing brought us to Colleen's at the Cannery in Haiku. It's located in a small mall with plenty of parking. Traveling with children means ordering food for them before anyone else so that the wait will be tolerable. An order of grilled cheese was... More
